Another don't bother "sale".

Yep those "discounted" prices are not even close to my reality.

In any case, malwarebytes is blocking that site on my PC, due to a trojan alert

The Captain Sim Xmas sale used to be a 'not to be missed event' back when they would knock everything out for a tenner. I'm willing to bet they made a lot more money in those days than they will by knocking less than 20 quid off an add-on which is already massively overpriced and for a sim that many people have, or will be saying bye bye to.

oooh yes! I remember those days.  I think it was around $9-12 usa.  Over time I ended buying all of them for FSX-FS9.  Still use them.  I think it spoiled many folks waiting to the 24 hour deals at those low low prices.

How is that 1011?

In the description it says it has a panel state manager.  I hope it means that you can save and reload flights. That would be an important feature for a complex addon.

Exactly.  The $10 sales were ok...if you wanted thier old stuff as they never put the new stuff in that sale.

And I'm surely not paying $20 less for an overpriced 767 with one engine variant that's just a 767 model with a ported and slightly tweaked 757 cockpit.

And on a sim I don't fly anymore...lol.

I'm actually a little surprised that they haven't tried to drop their 757 and 767 into msfs and just give us a shell for $49.99, promising us that the avionics and pilot tested flight Dynamics are coming soon. Just pay us now and look at the pretty model, and we'll get around to giving you the other stuff when we feel like it. 🙄..... they've done it before...and stupid me bought it the 1st time.

The 777 was so ridiculous that I closed my sim. The 757 is decent, if you get it for 25€..

757 is nice for 10-20$ but worth more than that in my opinion, I would put it with the CRJ.

🙄\The $10 sales were ok.

@Steve Dra,

Great to hear from you.   10 buck sales were not classified as simple mere ok.  10 buck sales are amazing and it might be true that some aircrafts are little tad bit old BUT hey they are timeless masterpieces such as C-130s, 727s, and so on.  727 cockpit is mastepiece and I always want 707-300s but am still waiting for 10 buck sale. I bought 727s, 757s, and C130s for 10 bucks each.

Remember some people are NOT NOT NOT rich and remember that money does NOT grow on trees.

10 buck sale is greatest promotion any software company ever offers for payware aircraft add ons.  I want to challenge Majestic or PMDG to follow finest holiday spirit by Captain Sims

Since I am NOT going to pay 35 bucks for Simbuild A300, how about painting original retro Finnair livery on freeware SGA Airbus A300??  Smiling

Aharon
