I can only hope that they rethought that. They made a similar statement years ago on this very forum when Phoenix released their 777, they saw no good reason to make another triple seven...!

It has to be a Boeing because it is the expertise of PMDG. It has to be a best-seller in the real world and in the sim. The fact that there is already the QW 787 will not prevent PMDG to sell a 787 because they are not playing in the same field. As an example, see FSL and Aerosoft for the A320. Indeed that's my reasoning. I really can't see them warming up the '57/'67 or moving to Canada, lol. Plus the 787 might be a good addition in preparation for the 777X. So it's all coming together... However part of me hopes for some surprise that we'd never have seen coming... 😆 Edited February 15, 20215 yr by thepilot

Once you get it, the EFB will be available to the 200-LR and F. If you don't buy the 200-ER expansion, you get no EFB for the 200-LR and F. In that case it's not a free update at all! I could have swore I read that it 'is'! Dave Taylor

February 18, 20215 yr As Wise87 wrote. There is a free update and optional a payed version which also incl the EFB and a new 777variant. Communicated months ago several times. I find this a great offer. Everyone can update free....and those who want new developed features can buy them too. No one works for free......this is. Fair model. Marcus Regards, Marcus P.

On the last day of their release "window", the 24th, RSR will pop in late that night with his usual passive aggressive comments to forum members and explain yet another delay. Rinse, lather, repeat. February 19, 20215 yr Well, I'm going to give them some credit for actually doing a bit better in the communications dept and tempering short-term expectations so that a bunch of anxious folks aren't wearing out the F5 key on their keyboards. The alternative is they say nothing until it releases, and I really don't think that's any better, honestly. It's good to have something to look forward to.
