That looks like a little gem to me.  I did a lot of work creating photoscenery for the channel islands, re meshing them and creating new watermasks for FSX and was always looking at ways to add more realism.  All obsolete now, but This looks like an amazing addition to a beautiful part of the world.  Off to download now.

Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)

This really adds more life around the coasts, love these addons and hope to see more coastal areas coming to life with this series.

ASUS ROG Maximus Hero XII ▪︎ Intel i9-10900K ▪︎ NVIDIA RTX 3090 FE ▪︎ 64GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro ▪︎ Windows 10 Pro (21H1) ▪︎ Samsung 970 EVO Pro 1TB NVME SSD (OS Drive) ▪︎ Samsung 860 EVO 2TB SATA SSD ▪︎ Seagate 4TB SATA HDD ▪︎ Corsair RMx 850W PSU

Yes, that looks very good indeed. If I make the switch to MSFS at some point, I will definitely be adding this little gem.

have downloaded this and will try a later.

Will be interesting to see what it's like, and how much they will charge for other areas in development like the UK South East Coast and Anguilla, St martin & St Barts packages.

Seems like a really nice addition and should mitigate one of the big cons of satellite imagery: sunken boats. Bit nervous about the pricing and format of such small regions being covered at a time. Gonna be a very pricey prospect to cover countries with coastlines the size of Canada for example.

Agreed, please vote here if you want this to be handled by Azure worldwide

I've been trying the past few hours and keep getting the 404 page not found on the Orbx website!

Spotted and voted a while back. Do we know if they're training the AI to learn from its mistakes? I saw some olive-tree fields yesterday which had clumps of the wrong trees in them and wondered if anyone was telling the AI it had made the wrong choice there.

I think the best way is to report such things, they surely want to constantly improve their AI

Just log into account and add to your account. Then download with Central. Simple.

I remember a thread about this add-on but do not recall if it was an ORBX partnership. The dev was supposed to keep in touch via newsletter, I guess things have hanged because I never received an email about this release.

Here's the original thread:

BTW, if you do not have this freeware package it's a must have:

MSFS

@DJJose That's what I was doing but didn't have Central:(  Can this be placed in the Community folder?

Yes, found it in the Community folder along with the "core" folder.

I didn't realise this was going to drop so soon. I'd better do a Channel Islands with all the boats gone.

A dude did a similar thing for Italy (at least partially, mostly Tuscany as far as i could see) but i think he is using assets provided by Microsoft and selling the full product (which i thought was something people woudn't be allowed to do?)

Chock 1.1: "The only thing that whines louder than a jet engine is a flight simmer."

You can use anything in the SDK for commercial stuff. It's there for developers. They wouldn't be best pleased if you were using their assets in another simulator.
