What I would like to know (will only get to install the update later today) - from what I am reading here, we can delete the "mappamundi" fixes for terrain spikes and coastal glitches?

Also, can we switch Bing Data back on to avoid 3rd party scenery CTD's that started causing problems for just about everyone a few days before this update was released?

Yes to all

Performance worsened slightly, especially when flying with clouds.

Now is the perfect time to make that a landing challenge - land the TBM at St Barts.

So, who will be first to do it? 🙂

Landsend Airport can no longer be used.

The runways are full of signs!

The alleged adjustment of the airport probably backfired.

St Michael's Mount, Castle has disappeared here!

The question arises here, is not at least one test carried out after the update?

Yeppers to both...  one thing to note, after you have updated..  make sure you also get the marketplace UK update for the UK Update, and then before attempting any flight,  delete rolling and manual cache (if you have either)...  restart the computer and then start flying..  this is stated in the notes to delete caches, but some people seem to have missed that step.

I have done the installs  and today flew from an ORBX airport to a UK2000 airport, both of which crashed end of last week with no problems at all having turned back on the live Bing data.

Oddly enough, I didn't see any major difference in the way the TBM flew on approach or landing, and the floating issue I have seen on a video was actually possible before the update if you got it right.  It may have become slightly more prominent, but we will see..  as I say, I wasn't affected on my flight today on landing.

All in all, I am thinking that so far..  solid update and I like the changes to clouds and overall lighting that have happened as well.

They can't check everything. New data comes in and they generate the UK scenery again. I wouldn't expect someone at Asobo to check every structure in the UK and every airfield. When you are simulating the planet you have to expect some imperfections here and there.

Something wrong then.. this is Lands End on my machine after the update (actually a very nice piece of work for a delivered airport)  :-

As to St Michaels mount..  yeah.. that wasn't a POI done in the update and would be a good object for someone to add as a one-off freeware item.  I mean the mount is there, and geographically its fine with the little harbour, but yes, the Castle is just flat on the top 🙂

Thanks, it is not a user error, I am getting a connexion lost error (please ensure you have an active internet connection)
But I did not get that message when preparing my flight plan.
Disconnecting - reconnecting to my xbox account does not help !

Edit : right now, I'm reconnected - I did nothing ! Strange.
I have got to fly again over london now !

Thread title is misleading and pure clickbait. In addition, Asobo isn't responsible for third party addons. If they don't work after an update, it's the responsibility of third party developers to fix their addons.

So, no, the update didn't "break" anything.

It did break some things so you are clearly wrong 🙂 Great thread idea OP !

VSync behaviour has changed obviously: while I had to set Vsync to 60 with my 30Hz monitor and got solid 30fps with no stutters while Vsync 30/20 would reduce the frames to half/third resulting in a stutterfest, now I can set 60/30/20 with no effect on the framerate ( always 30fps with VSync on) which wouldn't bother me much had I not acquired microstutters with all settings. Changing VSync settings in NVidia CP has no effect on the stutters. Guess it zendesk again...

Can someone please tell me if your pilot is invisible when using pilot # 9?

Trying to see if this issue is isolated to my machine only.
