March 14, 20215 yr Hello. I need some advice with KMA20 unit with GNS530. I can hear morse code from VOR2 and ADF, but they are so quiet. Should volume knobs on radios raise sound? How can i identify morse code from VOR1, using also GNS530 (github mod)? All the best. Regards, Bartek Staniszewski

I had the same problem, but then I read the manual and realized that I had not follow the right procedure, this aircraft is not like the dumb down standard aircrafts in MFSF. According to the manual. The function selector knob should be in the OFF position before starting the aircraft’s engine. Select the required reply code by rotating the four code knobs (one per code digit). The code will be displayed in the four code windows. After starting the engine, turn the function selector to standby (SBY). The transponder will take approximately 45-50 seconds to become operational. Once airborne, turn the function selector to ON, enabling normal Mode A operation. Turn the function selector to the altitude (ALT) position for altitude reporting (Mode C) to ATC. When you are asked to ident by ATC, press and release the ident push-button. Your aircraft will be positively identified to the air traffic controller. I have not tried the correct procedure yet myself, but I would not be surprised if it works then. 😀 Edited March 14, 20215 yr by Ixoye System: I ASRock X670E | AMD 7800X3D | 64Gb DDR5 6000 | RTX 4090 | 2TB NVMe | Seasonic Vertex 1000W I LG Ultra Gear 34 UW I
March 14, 20215 yr So in the XPlane version you could remove the grubby window textures - doesn't appear possible here? I understand the need for authenticity and a "worn look" but I think its a bit overdone. Thomas Derbyshire
March 14, 20215 yr Does anyone know what the yellow button below the landing gear lever shows? It says auto, ext, and off. Don't see it in he manual...
March 14, 20215 yr Quote This simulation of the Arrow III is an exact likeness of the real-life G-BGKU, including the significant wear and tear to the cockpit resulting from decades of use as a training aircraft. For those who would prefer a less worn cockpit, we have included a set of alternative textures. The two texture sets can be found in the ‘\justflightaircraft-pa28-arrow-iii\Cockpit\’ folder and replace the files found in ‘\justflight-aircraft-pa28-arrow-iii\SimObjects\ Airplanes\JF_PA28_Arrow\TEXTURE.VC’ folder. March 14, 20215 yr Has anyone got the LOC to work on the autopilot. I have been using Omni setting up to now, because I think I saw a video a couple of days ago that said there was a problem with LOC. I tried LOC today, and the Arrow started going off in it's own direction. I switched back to Omni, and it seemed to track again, not great, but in the general direction of he airport. At 1500 agl I just hand flew the ILS. Edited March 14, 20215 yr by Bobsk8

Treated myself to Lydd and Headcorn airfields from Burning Blue Design (https://burningbluedesign.com/product-category/scenery/airports-and-airfields/) and did a nice flight originating at Lydd, stopping into Headcorn and then onto Biggin Hill. A route I know well and have done many times in a real PA28! The whole thing was hugely satisfying, probably the most immersive VFR experience I've had in a sim to date! I bought Headcorn and though it looks excellent it's an absolute stutterfest, seems to be very little optimisation. Shame, the detail is excellent. Stutters disappeared once I removed the airport so it's not the usual Asobo bug introduced with the last update. On a different note, does anyone else find the rudder trim only works in big jolts? Doesn't matter if I'm using the mouse scroll wheel or clicking to adjust the trim. I'm also wondering if the ASI is correctly calibrated. Might just be my luck with winds but with the GNS530 selected I'm finding my ground speed is consistently around 20-25kts lower than the ASI reading. Stall comes at about 70KIAS though the GPS reads it as 48kts or so. I'm only flying at about 2500ft so there shouldn't be much TAS/IAS error. Fantastic aeroplane otherwise. i7-10700K; RTX 2070 Super; 16GB; P3Dv4.5HF3 & MSFS2020.

If it is just the winds giving you a GNS530 ground speed around 20-25kts lower than the IAS, than if you do a 180 the GNS530 ground speed reading should be about 20-25Kts higher than the IAS.
