I had FPS lock on 5 FPS yesterday with the Arrow. I shut down MSFS, and did the same flight with the Mooney, same result in the same area, it was the Update not the aircraft. Since then I have flown the Arrow on six 130 mile flights with zero problem.
March 13, 20215 yr One thing I really like about this aircraft is that I don't need to use any specific higher landing view camera to see the runway during approach, hats off for that JF. March 13, 20215 yr OK, I don't know if it is the sim itself, my setup, or the aircraft, but I just started a new flight. The trim is operating normally from start to taxi, until I get to the end of the runway to turn the plane around 180 to line up for takeoff. This is where the trim goes wild. I have lost the ability to manually perform "Trim" input of any kind. I looked at the trim wheel and it was sitting on over 14.8 degrees UP, I continued to watch it and it suddenly drops down to 1.8 degrees UP and starts increasing back up to around 15 degrees, without any input from myself, this seems to be a continuous cycle and probably explains why I am cruising with nose up around 5-10 degrees all the time. But why? No one else has reported this, so I think I'll contact Just Flight. March 13, 20215 yr is it possible that you have an axis mapped to trim and it's messing with your aircraft ? https://fsprocedures.com Your home for all flight simulator related checklist.
March 13, 20215 yr Have JF confirmed there is a Honeycomb Alpha key mapping fix coming? And also, has anyone had a problem with not having stall horn audio?

March 13, 20215 yr I've found that, left at idle, the aircraft builds up to 40kts taxi speed, have to brake frequently. This seems quite overpowered. Otherwise pretty good flight model based upon my experience in RL flying a somewhat similar Piper Warrior II AMD 5830X Nvidia RTX 3060 Win 11

The plane doesn't seem to support the "Set" commands which is a problem with physical switches - mapping the switches to toggles only works whee everything starts in the correct position.

Just a thought, I have assigned Alpha Yoke buttons to the Up (Joystick Button 6) and Down (Joystick Button 5) Trims. Also is it possible my Y-Axis (Elevator Axis) may be conflicting with the Trims? I Have no other trim assignments on any other devices. i913900KF (5.8GHz) | Case: Fractal PopAir RGB I Gigabyte Z790 UD AX| MSI Gaming RTX 4070Ti Super 16GB | Kingston Fury Beast 64GB DDR5 5200Mhz | SOLIDIGM P41 Plus 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD | Samsung SSD 870 EVO 2TB | Thermalright Frozen Notte 240 MM Liquid Cooling | LG EVO 42" Monitor 3840 x 2160 120Hz | Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo | Logitech G Pro pedals | Tobii EyeTracker | 850W Thermaltake 80+ GOLD |
March 13, 20215 yr Anyone with Steam, do you have two folders named "justflight-aircraft-pa28-arrow-iii", one in the Packages folder, and one in the Community folder? That is what I have. This is the same with all msfs planes I have found...... using alpha and bravo. Just gotta make sure all switches are off before you start cold and dark etc....

That's not my experience, by using the Set command only bound to the on side of the switch you can be use that the switch position represents the state of the system - MSFS doesn't alwasys seem to pick up teh switch position correctly at start but by cycling the switch it is guaranteed to be correct. March 13, 20215 yr Has anyone had “security failure” message on the EFB when loading the aircraft? It prevents me from using the plane, and I’ve downloaded and installed multiple times as administrator. if I go to the authentication site listed in the productdata folder it says “missing authentication token.” Are we not able to purchase this product on a weekend? March 13, 20215 yr OK this is probably not the normal procedure for using trim, but in my case I guess it is just a workaround to my issue. I was using Altitude HLD (Piper Logo) and when I removed the HLD I was able to Trim the aircraft in the normal way, either by using the Trim wheel or my assigned buttons on the Alpha yoke. So it has something to do with the ALT HLD in combination with the Trim Controls, for myself anyway. Also when I takeoff the Nose wants to point upward and I have to use forward pressure on the Yoke to compensate for the uncontrollable Up Trim of the plane. I dunno, I will send that along to Just Flight as well. i913900KF (5.8GHz) | Case: Fractal PopAir RGB I Gigabyte Z790 UD AX| MSI Gaming RTX 4070Ti Super 16GB | Kingston Fury Beast 64GB DDR5 5200Mhz | SOLIDIGM P41 Plus 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD | Samsung SSD 870 EVO 2TB | Thermalright Frozen Notte 240 MM Liquid Cooling | LG EVO 42" Monitor 3840 x 2160 120Hz | Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo | Logitech G Pro pedals | Tobii EyeTracker | 850W Thermaltake 80+ GOLD |
