Do you realize that it works for most of us and the problem could be with your particular localization ?

Yes I understand that, but I really need a rest from this sim right now.

I have the 530 with the Mod. How does one get the weather display?

Not yet.  A few people have posted the same issue on the JF forums.  A common theme appears to be an MSFS installation to a separate disk drive.  I have also filled out a support ticket.

I confirm that I have MSFS in a separate drive... Also filled a ticket but no answer so far...

Interesting.  Well, so many variables to sort through I suppose.  Hopefully tech support can figure it out.

meanwhile we`re grounded!! 😔

True, but if they can’t sort it out then I figure I’ll ask for a refund and then buy it from the MS marketplace when it comes out.

So here's what I'm talking about with jitters. Identical scenario - KDAN Rwy 18, wind 230@8. Live Weather setting.

Notice even sitting on the runway the plane tousles and squeaks. Too dramatic for an 8kt wind. Then on climbout you can see that, while the 172 seems to hit pockets of air and move smoothly... like riding waves... the Arrow jerks around like, well, Elaine's dancing.

I have tried to use the transponder according to the manual and I can state that it does not work together with ATC, I get no radar contact and the ATC window get stuck waiting for an answer.

Later on the flight I got a huge fps drop with horrendous stuttering at approach, which eventually became so terrible that I got CTD just before the touchdown, I give up this word not allowed now, it's not fun anymore 😔

I did two flights today in NZ the only place to fly atm. The first it worked fine and ATC was happy the second time doing the same ATC cancelled on me.

So I have idea, after start set to SBY, take off ON, ATC call set to ALT, ATC....your transponder is not working.

I have made a ticket about it to JF, and hopefully they will fix this in the coming patch, I really love this aircraft. I got a tip on MS forum to fly in the Bahamas, I took a flight around Nassau and it worked great with superb performance, thanks for the tip about NZ, I will try to fly there next time.

Watching this video, which is interesting, I was struck by what a great job Just Flight did on the cockpit of the Arrow.

So there is an interesting thread on the MSFS forums claiming you need to always turn off the pad before making it invisible because if you leave it turned on, it has a big effect on FPS even when invisible:

Yes, I have noticed that I save about 5 fps by turning it off before I hide it.
