May 27, 20215 yr I thought this was a joke when I first read it. Got home last night and clicked on my taskbar icon, no slaph screen just the normal 10 seconds of "did I press it?????" May 27, 20215 yr I saw it last night after a Windows 'restart'. Believe it or not, 'shut down and then start' may not trigger certain parts of updates. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

I wasn’t aware that others have reported that particular update seems to enable the new splash screen until today, but I definitely saw it for the first time last night when running MSFS after doing the update.
