Hype Performance Group Announce Payware Airbus H145

Featured Replies

If real pilots say that the flight model is similar to the real one, then I will buy H145.

Lots of people complaining about 45$, this isn’t much if your getting a quality add-on. Can’t really say for sure if this will be quality but just saying. I don’t mind paying for quality, Isn’t just flights arrow about 45$??

 Intel I7 12700KF / 32 GB Ram-3600mhz / Windows 11 - 64 bit / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060TI / 32" Acer Monitor, Honeycomb alpha/bravo, CH rudder pedals, Tobii 5, Buttkicker, Logitech radio panel.

The $42 price is the early access price. As we have no idea how it will turn out that's a risk I'm not prepared to take.  They said it will be higher priced on full release. If $42 the early access price we can safely assume that on release it'll be $50 minimum. That's almost PMDG DC6 money, so it needs to be that sort of quality.

Clearly the modelling looks great. No issues there, so it's going to pretty much come down to the flight model to decide whether it's going to be worth the money or not.

As we can only judge them on the flight model of their current offering so far I'm extremely skeptical that this is going to come anywhere close to being a $50 product.

Personally I've had a lot of fun in the H135 and have spent an awful lot of time flying it. The flight model is average at best unfortunately but I'm prepared to overlook many faults in anything someone offers for free so I've had fun with it for what it is.   The devs seem a good bunch and dedicated to producing a great product. I wish them the best of luck.

If they can produce the modeling they are showing us now with a flight model as good as Flyinside have managed then I'll have no hesitation at $50.  If the flight model is just a variation of what they are doing with the H135 then it's a definite no purchase for me.

Flyinside have set an extremely high bar right out of the box with their Bell47 flight model.  The standard has been set. It's up to all other Heli developers to match that at a minimum.  HPG's current offering isn't even close yet.  I really hope they can pull it off with the H145, if they do I'll be a day one purchaser of any future products.

So despite all the fancy pics being shown all I want to hear about is how they are approaching the flight model.

Can any testers (or the dev) confirm if the power dip from the A135 has been resolved with the A145?

So my only comment other than it looks great , is the lack of shadows over the cockpit instrument cluster. All other planes in MSFS have this but it is lacking in these copters. While the functionality is tremendous the instruments look totally flat. Not a problem in freeware, but a slight lack in payware. Am I being too picky?

I'm not a copter guy nor have a clue how to fly one but this is worthy of asking price all day long and looks like I may have to learn - great job

What is the accuracy of helicopter flight dynamics in this game? The airflow around the rotors is extremely complex specially during the hover, transition to forward flight etc.

I know nothing about flying helis but I've always found them intriguing machines.

Hi,

Is it possible to load the 145 as a free model for when in multiplayer mode, just so that folk flying 145's appear as 145's?

I have just purchased the H145 and am blown away. Compared to the freeware, this is night and day.

Thank you HPG for bringing a believable helicopter to MSFS and for adding a NeoFly menu option to the on-board tablet!

I have only flown my Category mission and three emergency rescue missions in NeoFly so far but the handling is what I would expect, having flown helicopters for years in DCS.

Thank you @HPG

Perhaps it might be a good idea to hop off to a forum more to your interest. 🤪
