ummmm, it's .55, not .52 !?!?!?!?!

I thought Xplane 10 ended at 10.51.

Nah.  It can go to .99 if Laminar want it to.  It stops when they're done with that version.

No, because that is a question that most of us would not have asked. The video showing the new lighting was labeled "X-Plane next generation technology preview 1", and the contents of the patch where also discussed thoroughly merely a few posts down

So your question was either posted out of ignorance, inability to comprehend or to troll (i.e. suggest that Laminar really needs to update their lighting to become competitive with MSFS but can´t even include it in the latest patch, yada yada yada)...
