Just Flight Arrow updates out 19/07/2021...

Featured Replies

Arrow III - version 0.8.0

Turbo Arrow III/IV - version 0.3.0

Only a small update but some nice to have tweaks: -

  • Autopilot tweaks
  • Landing gear lights dim when panel is on
  • AP Nav selector fixed
  • Whiskey Compass improved
  • Cabin heat now prevents windshield icing
  • Minor sound fixes... Etc.

Hopefully these will be carried over to the Warrior, due out soon... Today maybe?

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Thank you

I must say, the Arrows have been looked after well in terms of updates.

They are really great aircraft to fly too

FS PC - AMD7900X3D / MSI RTX 4090 24gb / 32gb Ram / Varjo Aero / Bravo Quadrant / Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog / Yoke / TPR Pedals

UK Skytours - http://www.ukskytours.co.uk

Ohhh nice with the cabin heat.. I no longer have to cheat using a hot-key to turn on windshield anti-icing

ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING / i9-9900k @ 4.7 all cores w/ NOCTUA NH-D15S / 2080ti / 32GB G.Skill 3200 RIPJAWS / 1TB Evo SSD / 500GB Evo SSD /  2x 3TB HDD / CORSAIR CRYSTAL 570X / IPSG 850W 80+ PLATINUM / Dual 4k Monitors

I just did a flight in the Turbo Arrow after the update. Works great.

The only thing I noticed was that the volume knob on the Garmin had to be turned on and all the way up for me to hear ATC. Which is realistic.

Is there an update to do these improvements on the non turbo Arrow?

Yes, there's a separate download for the non-turbo III.  If you have both versions you need two separate files.  Just run them over the top and they should update.

Yes. First line of my post. Right at the top. Version 0.8.0.

I really need to buy the Turbo.

Without a doubt! I waited on the Turbo, passing on the Arrow III, and it’s all I fly now. Whether in the Alps or now in Norway, this plane feels fantastic with decent performance. I promise you, it’s worth the cost and then some. Sounds like you already have the regular Arrow so you get a nice discount.

I don’t have the regular Arrow as i figured i would not fly it once i bought the Turbo version.

Why do you guys favor the turbo over the regular?

I fly in New Zealand a lot where there are something like 18 peaks higher than 10,000' .

The regular Arrow climbs at about the same pace as a bullock dray going up Everest the long way around, once you get it over 8000' or so.

Also, at altitude (say 15,000') the Turbo is a lot faster.

This sort of flying below (getting into the altitudes IRL you would be needing to use oxygen)  the standard arrow would be struggling ...

With Turbo I can do everything I would do with the NA plus much more.
