A short video of a circuit in the Warrior II ...

Glenn, how did you remove the EFB?  I have the Arrow and want to buy the Warrior as it was my primary GA craft some forty plus years ago. That said, I’ve yet to figure out how to remove the stow the EFB from the Arrow cockpit. Can you help?

TIA,

The description says "Cockpit textures feature wear and tear based on reference photos taken in the real aircraft to produce an authentic environment, with optional 'clean' textures for a less worn look". Does anyone know how do to enable the "less worn look"? I don't see anything about it in the manual.

OK ... in the Arrow III there two different texture sets for clean and default - I cannot find these on the Warrior II install.

Thank you Glenn.

They got it all wrong. If they had have released the Warrior first I would have probably have ended up buying all three. But now I have the Arrow and Turbo Arrow I'm going to pass on this.

I agree, most pilots in real life, if they learn on a Warrior 2 and want to progress to a more complex aircraft, they would look for something with a constant speed prop and retractable gear. Easy step up would be into an Arrow 3.

The Warrior is actually the only Piper in my real life log book, so this one is a must have for me.

Like a few others here I think this will be a pass for me as I already have the Arrow and Turbo Arrow.  It’s a bit of a shame as I’m sure this will be an excellent aircraft but I just doubt I’d fly it often when I have the other two (technically three) excellent Arrows.

I had about 5 hours dual in a Warrior, but unfortunately, my CFI had a drinking problem, so I moved to another flight school to finish my training on a C 152  .

I've no idea what a Warrior is supposed to fly like but if this is accurate I can see why flight schools use them - does what you ask of it without fuss but definitely isn't fast 🙂

I didn't know that Ted Stryker had added CFI to his impressive list of accomplishments.

The Warrior's AP panel is DEFINITELY better than the Arrow'sIt's lacking the turn wheel but removes the weird combination of modes that makes the Arrow's so confusing. Plus it's way easier to see at a quick glance what's set.

As before there's a secret Alt Hold mode as well this time controlled by the small white button on the AP panel above the test button.

You have no idea how much abuse these tanks can withstand.

Also with F40 and idle power, it flies like a barn door you can get in (but maybe not out) almost anywhere!
