Good catch. I removed the Bijan seasons from community and it loads now.

I purchased it from Market Place so it will probably be fixed in SU6....😄 In the meantime, I will just fly without it.

I don't experience longer loading times, rather the sim and the flights load faster than before. But I have not yet activated all my freeware add-ons.

Do you regret buying it from the marketplace?  If so i would contact Bijan directly.  He seems very willing to "help out" and get you enjoying the full product.  I cant promise anything but he certainly appears to be helping those who purchased in the marketplace and are not happy.

 

He DID know about the old version crashing the sim with SU5  and mentioned it a couple of weeks ago.  I would suggest following his thread in the main forum   https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/4-season-pack-multi-season-version-6-is-released-for-sim-update-5/376161/2085

I also wasn't able to start any flight after the SU5 update. The loading progress would stop halfway and FS2020 would freeze forever. I had to kill the process to get out and relaunch the application. Then I noticed that I was offline and the options to connect to any server were disabled. I also noticed that multiplayer was turned off, and after I turned it on I was able to start flights again. But whenever I turn multiplayer mode off, I get immediately disconnected from the server and can't start flights anymore. So, it seems that from now on, single player mode isn't an option.

I would estimate that MSFS now boots up twice as fast as before.

To load a flight after you set it up in the Welcome map is maybe 8 times faster, I would estimate. It used to be over a minute for me. Now is 10 seconds or so.

The framerate increase is enormous. It won't double but it will increase. I estimate mine is about about 70% (used to be 33 now 56 from my home airport).

There is scenery popping but it is not bad. But it is there.

The usage reported by developer mode for cpu and gpu are way lower. About 4 GB for each. 16 GB memory is way more than you need. That wasn't true before. The highest peak for cpu memory was 5.3 GB, it averaged 4. My video card is just loafing, that wasn't true before either.

Loading screen was slow yesterday, like.... Slooooow. Server overload? Today is lightning fast...

I sent him an email this morning and told him that the Market place version of his add on is a rip off. Not only does it only contain 2 seasons, but you never get an update, when something goes wrong. I will never buy anything from the market place again. 

I have an updated version for the seasons as posted on the msfs forum too. If bought from marketplace, just email me with a screenshot of the season mod you purchased and I’ll send you the updated file.
If bought from simmarket you can download it from there.

 

There are updates in marketplace too but it takes a month for them to process each update so they are very slow at updating.

Spot on about Marketplace though.  I will never purchase anything on there.  Worse products in a lot of cases and useless for updates.  I go straight to the devs.  Anyone who is exclusive to Marketplace (looking at you Carenado!) simply don't get my money.

Same here. Gave up after 20 minutes.

I did notice before I hit the 'Fly' button that the top right Server options were greyed out, yet it appeared to be hooked to the internet. I wonder if that is a factor?

My loading times are way faster than before. Aside from conflicting mods, I think the servers being hammered had a lot to do with the slowdown yesterday. Really happy with this update and the performance gains.

Yeah, things in the community folder will cause some issues.
