As for the pending Aerosoft release - ouch, that must indeed hurt. This would be "ouch", if it had all the hundreds of airports that Aerosoft will have. It relies on those "Static AI" freeware packs, that only have data for like 10 airports in Europe. Unless you are always flying only between EGLL and EDDF, that is not gonna cut it in the same way Aerosoft will. I wonder, however, if Aerosoft could not have just used their data with those models here, that are vastly superior to the ugly Aerosoft generic models. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
