I can smell a new hotfix is in the oven in Asobo's cuisine

with over 500 threads re. SU5 problems, the Asobo-chef and his 12 elves must be busy brewing a brand new recipe, I can smell it. When will the sizzling SU6 hotfix dinner be served, this tuesday? how would you like it prepared, medium rare as usual?

Hotfix not needed, just pull SU5 completely and go back to having a lovely and fully working flight simulator.

I suspect exactly the same. Hopefully they won't break any add-on that was already updated for compatibility issues with SU5.

Cheers, Ed

You don't know Asobo very well. They'll release a new update in over a month or so, fix 5 problems and introduce 10.. This is becoming exhausting.

First and foremost I think we have to differ: if CTD's  are concerned, maybe it's ASOBO's part, but everything regarding visual downgrades - provided they are intentional for XBox purposes - then it would actually be Microsoft who is responsible. ASOBO will have to do the work whatsoever.

Wishful thinking I am afraid.

Seems all the gains in fps speeds came as a direct result of automatically putting everyone at medium settings without their knowledge. Only improvement Ive seen is fps numbers are the same outside  and inside the glass cockpits now.

System Intel core I9-10900.Asus prime Z490P motherboard, Corsair 32gb ddr4 dram, Samsung 970 EVO 1TB SSD and 1 TB Seagate Barracuda HD. Zotac GE force RTX 2080 Super  750 Watt power supply, Windows 10 Pro, Honeycomb yoke and Bravo,Thrustmaster pedals

You may smell it, but unless you want them to crunch, is not happening...today....

First and foremost, they have to concentrate on all CTD problems, and I would like to get back cloud quality and color scheme from SU4, the rest I can live with until SU6.

System: I ASRock X670E | AMD 7800X3D | 64Gb DDR5 6000 | RTX 4090 | 2TB NVMe | Seasonic Vertex 1000W I LG Ultra Gear 34 UW I

It´s kind of shocking how much the Color scheme degraded the overall look of the game, hopefully an easy fix by Asobo.

Staying on the cooking theme, as PC users are currently digesting the raw leftovers after Xbox users have been given and are enjoying a feast,  can I suggest it is best eaten fried as Bubble & Squeak a traditional British dish.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X on ROG CROSSHAIR VIIl DARK HERO (AM4), Asus ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3080 V2 OC and 32 GB Vengeance Pro Ram 3600MHz. DELL Alienware AW3420DW 3440x1440 and DELL U2414H

I think Asobo got squeezed between Microsoft's expectations of an Xbox delivery on time - and beta testers and the PC userbase on the other side.

They likely don't have resources to keep two very different versions running at the same time. They do run different variants (Xbox Series S and Series X), but the main sim has to be the same.

I hope they will spend their resources fixing the PC variant. It's now FUBAR.

AMD Ryzen R9 9950X3D | Asus Astral RTX 5080 OC | 32 GB DDR5 6000 CL30 | 3440x1440 G-Sync | Logitech Pro Throttles Rudder Yoke Panels | Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS | TrackIR 5 | Oculus Rift S
