I am often in agreement with you. Not this time. Wokism and its snowflake prophets, as any pernicious ideology want to impose language codes to frame the mind of others. Metaphors enrich the language, any totalitarian ideology always wants the langage poorer. 

 Shouldn’t we say bickering is a real cancer here, reading this thread makes me depressive, wokism is a new plague, this guy is brain dead etc. because the expressions grossly exaggerate (well, maybe except for wokism=plague) what it is meant and people having cancer, depression, the plague or a stroke can feel that their situation is trivialized ?

To be careful not to hurt people is one laudable thing, edicting new language rules is another thing altogether.

People in this forum said that visual downgrades were nonexistent, or even an invention of whiners and paid agents against ASOBO and M$.

So they denied that what we were saying was real.

The devs themselves said that those issues were real and they were working on them.

So the devs proved the deniers wrong.

It's the opposite for me 🙂 

First day of vacation after more than a year, and since the COVID situation here in Italy is not so clear I am not going anywhere. 

Guess what I was planning to do? Some longer A320 flights with MSFS, because after SU4, MSFS was a real joy and performance was perfectly acceptable. Then the crashdate came out and it looks like I will have to find a new hobby, or maybe go back to work :-))))

As if when I was young and played basketball, exactly at the start of the summer break, when I could play all day, someone gave me a deflated ball and said: now you play with this one, aren't the colors awesome?

Let's see what happens with the hotfix, but if the sim remains unstable even with everything default, it's a no-go.

No doubt a supporter of 'free speech' complaining that someone used their free speech to apologise for offending someone.  You couldn't make it up.

I'm not sure why it is seen as 'woke' (whatever that means) to apologise for offending someone.  Whether you're offended or not is irrelevant, if you've unintentionally offended someone then it's the decent thing to apologise.  We all get offended by different things not just what you or anyone else thinks we should be offended by.  Personally I take offence at very little but I respect other people's rights to take offence and also people's right to apologise for giving it.

I must be old, or not up to date with lexicon.   The only Gaslighting I know of....is lighting my Coleman Camping stove for some eats...what does Gaslighting mean, if not that?!?!?!?!   I know, I know, I guess I can look it up....

Why make up something which is not here ? I didn't complain of anything, I made a remark to a forum friend who didn't take offence of it and has understood to me as I see he made a "like" to my post. It was in no way something to offend him. Free speech that I am indeed a supporter of, doesn't mean that I consider that any speech has value. I do not think that the perpetual call of the wokes for repentance and apologizing has any positive value and on contrary is Orwellian in nature. 

Besides that, you do whatever you "personally" want to do in society.

Is it 70%, I didn't measure it myself, but in Youtube Videos from one guy, I saw about a 30% improvement in FPS.
