Yes, it is not as fast as my Mooney, but the cockpit is well laid out and the GTN750 is very handy. I have sent Carenado a set of suggested changes for the autopilot (starting with removing the RDY indication when the AP is engaged) which they will likely ignore, as they have done in the past 😉 Hopefully someone will figure out how to make changes to the panel gauges, as we used to in P3D. Still, a very nice airplane in its current state... I never even noticed that until just now. What I would like to see is the little display above the Garmin 340 that shows the AP settings to be brighter. Chances of Carenado fixing that or the idle speed in the Mooney are probably nonexistent.

October 15, 20214 yr Seminole, my take: It flies well, has a really nice feel to it. But the HSI implementation is pretty poor and I would have, personally, preferred an altitude selector. It would have been a really nice plane. Gregg Seipp "A good landing is when you can walk away from the airplane. A great landing is when you can reuse it." i9 64GB RAM, GTX-5090
October 15, 20214 yr Staying on the sidelines until the Milviz 310R arrives. Currently flying the default Bonanza G36 with Robt Young Turbo mod. It is faster than any of the default or addon light twins and has advantageous associated fuel costs. I am cruising at 6,000 to 13,000 at 25 square and getting around 174 to 179 KIAS. Sweet! My wife is impressed with my fuel savings dollars as I use that to build a kitty toward my next power system build! Is there anyone out there who uses VR that con confirm or deny this for me? I'm disabled and it's a go/no-go decision maker for me, but Carenado doesn't talk about it or answer questions about it. I might make an exception for the Cessna Skymaster if it comes out in time to be included in the sale, but even that has me wondering if that's really a good idea. You see, I'm disabled and cannot bend and move as a "normal" person seated in a chair (I'm mostly bedbound) can do, which means I cannot see the cockpit, especially given the other limitations of VR, very well without that feature. Can anyone out there help me out with finding this info? Kev Hi Kev, I have not been able to get it working in either the Seneca or the Mooney, sorry. I didn't try the 182. Maybe someone else can chime in if they have found a way to get cockpit focus to work in VR with the Carenados.

Better current and future options. I have flown some good Carenado twins in previous sims. The MSFS offerings are not up to the standards of some of those. Not a cut at Carenado. I expect what they can offer is limited by core MSFS. October 16, 20214 yr Even on sale they were not tempting. I did pick up the c170. Now I have both I can say the c140 is definitely the better of the two vintage Cessna's in game, however the c170 on special is a bit of a bargain and a nice addon to my Neofly 1940's career fleet, so no regrets there.
