November 19, 20214 yr Hi folks, To those having bad stutters since SU7, try turning OFF the Motion Blur setting and see if it helps. It works nicely for me. November 19, 20214 yr Motion Blur is off already here and I am still having severe stutters. Performance is really bad. Bought a new PC for MSFS a few weeks ago, including an official G-Sync monitor, well, that's all money down the drain for now. MSFS was PERFECT before this update and now it's totally ruined.

November 19, 20214 yr My performance was terrible but only towards the end of my flight. Was near LAX on approach on the update day, which is a point where I would expect less frames but yet it was worse than usual. The start of the flight, over at China Lake pulling G's in the FA-18 was absolutely fine though. Currently circumnavigating the world in a mix of Cessna and Piper aircraft. My Default Setup; MSFS, Honeycomb Alpha, Thrustmaster Hotas X, TrackIR, Samsung Galaxy Tab, JustFlight Piper Arrow. Simworks Quest Kodiak 100. Wishlist; Honeycomb Bravo, Honeycomb Charlie. 1:400 Airline Model Collector.

November 19, 20214 yr Not stutters as such, but occasional graphic glitches (or long stutters). Anyway I deleted my rolling cache and let it build a new one. Now buttery smooth 😀 Worth a try if you have not yet done it.

My feelings as well. SU6 was a gem, getting 30 FPS stutter free. Now, GOTY gives me 23 FPS and stutters as well now, pixelated clouds on Ultra.  Very unhappy at this point.  I had a GREAT SIM....one version before GOTY.
November 19, 20214 yr Had to reduce the lod slider back from 300 to 175 on the ground after update to get back above 30fps, at a 1000 ft up set it back to 300 and slowly gets back to 40fps, then cut it back to 175 during approach ... Pain
November 19, 20214 yr Yes i also had to lower the terrain load to avoid stutters. MSFS2020, 24, Fenix A320,  Ryzen 9 9950X3D, ASUS TUF RTX 5090 ,G.SKILL 64GB 6000MHz CL28

November 19, 20214 yr Trials and errors as usual. Reducing the LOD and object details to 100 from the 150 that SU5 and SU6 have allowed me, seems having cured the stutters.  So SU7 is something like "back to SU4" 😋 ? Dominique Simming since 1981 - [email protected] GHz with 16 GB of RAM and a 1080 with 8 GB VRAM running a 27" @ 2560*1440 - Windows 10 - Warthog HOTAS - MFG pedals - MSFS Standard version with Steam Â
