Hi everyone. I have a Honeycomb Alpha Yoke and Bravo Throttle Quadrant. But I would like to purchase a joystick for flying planes that use them. Having never owned one before, I am wondering if you can make suggestions for a good quality all-around joystick that will work with lots of different types of planes that use them.

Thanks,

Rob

Case: (Lian Li PC-011 Dynamic XL), PSU: (MEG Ai300p pcie 5 & ATX 3.0), Motherboard: (ASUS TUF Gaming x670E-PLUS WIFI 6E), CPU: (AMD Ryzen 7 7800-X3D)

Memory: (G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO RGB Series 64GB DDR5 6000), GPU: (Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 AMP Extreme Airo). CPU Cooler: (ASUS ROG Strix LC RGB 360)

My Favorite is the Thrustmaster T 16000M with Hall Ics, which never get noisy or drift.

I still use my trusty MS FFB2 from 20 years ago.

Thrustmaster Warthog stick is a serious tool. The base is so heavy you can just sit in the desk and it usually won't move around in use.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

2nd on the MS Sidewinder 2. I still use mine and the ability to trim out elevator force is nice. I wish we would get FSForce software for MSFS because it makes the FFB even better! My throttle pot has gotten a little tweaky (I think) and it's sometimes hard to make small throttle adjustments, but since the OP has a Bravo Throttle that's not a concern. Consider buying a used MS Sidewinder 2 on ebay, they're still around.

I have boh the Logitech Extreme 3D pro and the MS Sidewinder FFB2... but have since started using the T.16000M, and wow what a difference the HAL sensors make... The sensors on the older Joysticks are mechanical, so any movement are not as smooth as with the HAL sensors... The older Joysticks have served me well over the years, the T.16000M has made the SIM a whole different experience positively... Just my opinion....

I don't have one yet, but I like the specs and look of the Gladiator NXT Joystick. https://vkbcontrollers.com/?product=gladiator-nxt-space-combat-edition

I bought one of these several months ago (without the double trigger). It's a great joystick and extremely robust.

And please make sure that your table is solid enough with the Warthog, if i neutral the joystick a little bit quicker, it wobble my table and monitor, which is more like a warning feature telling you calm down, pretty cool. Anyway, i'm planning a chassis for it.

^ i reckon best value for money too.

plus it apparently doesn't have a firmware deadzone, which is a great thing if you'd like to modify it for heli use.

I recommend a joystick from VKB, jag har en TM Warthog, it is good, but not in the same class as VKB offer in the same price range.

The gimbals on original TM Warthog stick base are just word not allowed compared to gimbals from Virpil (you can use the TM WH stick on these, same connector and reprogram the base so that the Target software still sees it as a Warthog base) or VKB.
Once you used one of these, you never go back to the original TM, never!
