For sooooo many reasons, buying a car is absolutely nothing like buying software during its development cycle.

for only oooooooone reason its the same for both examples:

we bought a software announced like finished product.

"pret a porter". with real live traffic (we never had) and live weather (now bad and worse than before)....

Show me where you were told by Microsoft that the product was finished on release.

Look on the Internet. You don't want me to do your research work.

What’s this nonsense? Betas are normal in software releases.

beta fix is a joke. Sometimes normal things doest mean they are correct.

if i buy a car, the car has to work. i dont need any fix after. at least during first two years.

If you ever bought one, you might be familiar with recalls, they all have them. Also first model years are often plagued with issues that are rectified in later years, so often purchasers are beta testing, but don't qualify to have their model of vehicle upgraded to the new fixed version.

And further to your statement that you purchased a "finished" product, from the outset it has been stated to be a ten year project.

Is it perfect now? No. But at least it is not abandon ware like many pieces of software are.

Actually, they've said to the contrary. They always told us this was a work in progress.

It is truly incredible the work you do to justify that MSFS does not work, neither as it should nor as it was advertised when it was sold.
In any case, selling a defective product is usually something general in the set of mediocre majority.
There are those of us who realize it.
but, congratulations! because your kind answers are elaborately worked!

That will be a pleasure that you will be waiting for.
I do not do the job to any opponent, not even if he is blind.
Type and discover. And if you wish, as you are proud, when you see that you are not right, you can remain silent.
I'll pretend I don't remember.

No one is forcing you to use the sim.

Come back in another 4 years then.

I want to use a product that I paid for.
If it was free (it wouldn't have been a bad idea), I would have left right now.
But I have paid and I have the right to express my opinion as many times as necessary.
What happens is not an invention, it is a fact.
The forums are full of people angry that Asobo is not even able to communicate gracefully with its users.
I am not a casual user.
I am a buyer customer.

I have looked and can’t find any evidence at all. You made the claim so it’s your job to prove it.

Either show your evidence or admit the claim is untrue.

Guess you didn't read what I posted and my reasoning for not using the beta. I do not want to be a beta tester, I did that for years with several products, not interested in it anymore.

Then you live with the consequences, but why?  It's really NBD Bobsk8 and I hate big deals myself as far as IT troubles goes, be done with it and enjoy.  If you have to reinstall the whole banana in a month it's a piece of cake to do really--lots of hours, but little in the way of attention.   Reinstalling MSFS is not even close to the nightmare of reinstalling P3D w/ addons.
