December 27, 20214 yr I usually post a screen shot about once a week to the Facebook User Group Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 ( Asobo). When I do this, and I have done it with the Mooney, the DC6, the Seminole, The Piper Arrow, I get anywhere between 3 and around 10 likes at the most from forum members. The other day I posted a screen shot of the Kodiak 100 flying at cruise in Papua New Guinea. I just looked now and I have over 130 Likes for the photo, and almost two dozen comments about what a great Aircraft this is, for MSFS. Edited December 27, 20214 yr by Bobsk8
December 27, 20214 yr Author I noticed on the checklist I have that it says that right before touchdown, you should retract flaps from full to 20 degrees. I wonder what is the purpose of that?

I wonder what is the purpose of that? Hmmmm. Maybe a misprint? On the Kodiak official videos they say landing is with full flaps. I could see retracting them upon touchdown for better braking. Or maybe it's a kodiakism lol I watched a video by this morning with the kodiak Rep pilot and he stated that landings should be made with full flaps, 35 degrees, so the checklist I got is incorrect.
