Haha yeah comes across like that, but it's true, having been in so many betas in many forms of computer gaming over those decades this is the worst... and by far. Kind regards, Michael We did that for the pre-SU7 bugs and the post SU7 bugs, it's falling on deaf ears, hence my utter frustration. I don't want too but I feel I need to put this sim down for awhile and pick it back up another day, the tremendously pathetic quality control has finally done me over! February 10, 20224 yr Did they ever get around to fixing the cloud level and ground fog issues? SU7 hotfix helped a little, but I thought more was supposed to get done in that regard. James David Walley Ryzen 7 7700X, 32 GB, RTX 3080

That's definitely not an option for me as I have far too much fun with this sim, despite its naggies. But this may perhaps depend on usage, I understand others may feel more issues than me. The controls disconnect bug under VR was a critical one for me, I'll see soon if it got resolved. February 11, 20224 yr You guys, its a BETA! Things aren't polished and probably aren't working perfectly yet. Thats the whole point. These things will get fixed. I always have to remind myself how lucky we are, even when stuff is frustrating. We now finally have modern sim where the developers actually engage with the public, unlike any other sim.
February 11, 20224 yr I hope the zoom bug gets fixed. The bug where if you zoom in to see closer inside the cockpit, as soon as you release the button you are using to toggle zoom it resets back to the unzoomed fov.

Are you sure thats not one of those buttons you can set as "hold"? or "toggle" mode? February 11, 20224 yr SU8 feels like just another normal sim update, not the big backlog bug squashing one they made it out to be.

Tell that to the VR users, we've been suffering with severe problems/regressions since SU7 and they're still not fixed in this beta, the hope is fading and the frustration only grows. February 11, 20224 yr The new propeller modelling which curiously comes with this debugging update is, of course, good and welcome news. I hope that it is as good as it seems. On the other hand, I read twice the release notes and what I see will improve marginally my own simming experience (YMMV of course). The number of items which « denotes issues that were identified by the player » is telling. Being kind and all, I’d say they listen to us with half an ear at best. Now I cross my fingers and have thrown a pinch of salt over my shoulder in waiting for the mandatory release. Hanging a rabbit foot over my computer should help too, I think. Anyway, SU8 is an even number so we may be luckier than with the wretched SU 5 and 7. Thats all the trust that I put in the update right now. Superstition rules.
