Hi,

They talk about a "new propellers physic" but I have not find some informations on how to use this new physic on one of my aircrafts ?

Is this new physics in the settings of the CFG files ? I didn't find anything special in the C152 but I probably didn't look hard enough. Does anyone have the answer?

Sorry, I just find this: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/new-prop-physics/497323

It is implemented for 3 aircraft including the c152. No need to activate it

After more research, I have located more parameters in propeller section in C152's engine.cfg:

prop_mod_use_modern = 1
prop_mod_use_absorbed_torque = 1
prop_mod_aspect_ratio = 6
prop_mod_lift_slope_cf = 3
prop_mod_aoa_twist_delta_deg = 6
prop_mod_aoa_lift_delta_deg = 4
prop_mod_stall_aoa_scaler = 1.75
prop_mod_stall_aoa_power = 1
prop_mod_beta_def_at_ratio = 0.75
prop_mod_lift_efficiency_cf = 0.2
prop_mod_zero_lift_drag_cf = 0.02
prop_mod_reverse_left = 0
prop_mod_reverse_right = 0
prop_mod_reverse_centre = 0
prop_mod_ang_offset_left = 0
prop_mod_ang_offset_right = 0
prop_mod_ang_offset_centre = 90
prop_mod_moment_scalar_pitch = 1
prop_mod_moment_scalar_yaw = 1
prop_mod_moment_scalar_roll = 1

The first line seems to be the parameter is the declaration allowing the simu to use these new functions .

Exactly - the devs said this in the earlier Q&A that the config can be copied and pasted. Perhaps reach out to the dev support team.

I can confirm, I'm getting slightly better FPS and less FPS spikes after going into the audio options and setting my audio devices.

What an odd issue. But that's just MSFS issues in general isn't it?

It's just the nature of games development, to be honest. It's important to report this. If everyone reliably has this issue, then the devs will be able to replicate it themselves (and that's what makes the difference).

The dev team will be encountering countless odd issues every day (all bugs are odd, really, until somebody realises what's causing it, hence my brother always saying "this makes no sense" when sharing his frustrations with me). But we don't see most of the bugs because they're picked up and fixed during the (supposedly non-existent) testing that all programmers carry out every minute of every day.

That popular developer meme again:

99 tiny bugs on the wall, 99 tiny bugs. You take one down and patch it around, 127 more bugs on the wall.

Well that is strange. I chose the beta in Steam, installed. Then Content Manager about 5 or 6 GB download. Installed yesterday. And today: another 5 GB download in the Content Manager?

here's hoping

And it would be nice if Real Time AI planes actually get off the runway!  Seems often the slow down to a crawl after landing.

I am not sure you are supposed to do that (deinstall the beta), it is a bit of a one way trip.

What was your reason for uninstalling it?

To get things back, you will probably have to install the beta again.  If that doesn't work, you might need to do a full reinstallation, and that isn't fun!  :unsure:

After installing the BETA I did not see any multiplayer planes (of my Discord group) anymore.

Installed the BETA again, and menu is at least back. Have to check for multiplayer planes.

Not installing the Beta since I have a default installation location and don't want to do another reinstall w/ the release of the public version, but I have to ask since this has been such a glaring defect, the release notes refer to it, but I've not read a comment in 2 threads on the beta:  do the planes in Real-Time Online Traffic now takeoff as well as land, and do landed planes get off the runway rather than slow down to 2kt and so take forever to vacate the runway?
