February 25, 20224 yr what's wrong with the WorkingTitle CJ4? and how about the Carenado Phenom100/300, Beechcraft Premier 1? I am sure Carenado is already working on them for MSFS, for me that "study level" stereotype is not required for easy weekend flying to your private airfield, their complexity level will suffice for me. And now that we can soon exercise our "hard core" (tm) flying in those PMDG/Fenix, I assume people might be more appreciative of Carenado's undisputed nr.1 top design quality. I would always take a Carenado over a Flight 1 Lear or Mustang now that we have the NXi, both were visually disappointing or had bad fps. Unfortunately out of all the aircraft you mention, the CJ4 is the ONLY one we can fly now. This is why bean sprout wants to know if anything else has been announced. Other than the 2 VLJ's mentioned (Honda and Cirrus), it does not look like we will see a midsize or large bizjet this year (very sad) 😰 Quote
February 25, 20224 yr I wonder when WT will bring the G3000 to NXi level. That would bring us the TBM (jet like) and the Longitude out of the box.

Agreed, I should of mentioned the Longitude but it needs a lot more "love" before ready for prime time and I just can't consider a prop aircraft (TBM) as a biz jet (sorry). Quote

I own all of the Carenado bizjets and most have terrible performance (Hawker,XL560, 390 Premier, S550, CJ2 etc etc) and issues that were simply ignored and never fixed. Tons of avionics dll issues where things simply loop and don’t turn off in the process backgrounds. While Carenado has the great textures/visuals over the Flight1 Mustang and thats about it for me. Its been a long proven fact and track record that what you buy is what you get from Carenado and to not expect any bug performance fixes once they move on to the next project. I hope they do better in MSFS and are able to shake that reputation from past platforms. As for the MSFS CJ4 yes the modifications have been great and its come a very long way but some of us are tired of flying slowtations and are looking forward to other bizjets hence the reason for such thread. Maybe some day they will all make it to MSFS. That Hotstart Challenger 650 is something else though in X-Plane. If I fly a Bizjet in this sim its the WT CJ4 any other would be if they get a Citation X. Edited February 25, 20224 yr by jbdbow1970

Yea XP has the Challenger 650, an A350, PC24 and Aerobask did an awesome looking Epic Victory. February 25, 20224 yr One of the best bizjets I have flown is in XP11, the Phenom 300. Aerobask did a great job with it and the XP11 (Aerobask modified) G1000 implementation is pretty good. Sadly, I have not seen nor heard that they will be developing for MSFS 2020. Sure would like a 300.

February 26, 20224 yr How about someone develop the "swiss army knife" of biz jets - that would assuredly appeal to a wide variety and the most demanding of simmers. One that possesses the short field performance of a VLJ, the speed of today's fastest commercial AC (m.89-m.93), a range better than a BBJ and a service ceiling of FL510 avoiding traffic and headwinds. Plus.... she's so d^^^ sexy...... I'd take any varient (I'd also settle for a Challenger 350 or a recent Learjet.) Regards, Kendall 7800X3D/G.B. February 26, 20224 yr I've spent quite a long time with the WT CJ4 lately. The avionics are not exactly user friendly and quite fiddly (I hasten to add this is not WT's fault - they have faithfully reproduced very close to the real avionics) but after a while you get used to them and in a way the old fashioned Collins Pro Line screens are endearingly challenging and quite powerful once you get used to the Collins system. The Carenado Hawker for P3d had the same avionics and once tweaked it was a nice aircraft to fly, though I felt the GTN 750 suited it better. I think the challenge with Corporate Jets is that they are almost as complex to design for a sim as an airliner yet probably have far less sales potential compared with a 737/airbus etc. Robert Young - retired full time developer - see my Nexus Mod Page and my GitHub Mod page
