Ah that makes sense.  Thanks for the clarification.

That combined with the 3 way Landing Light means it's probably best to just stick to controlling the lights with the mouse inside the virtual cockpit then.

I just flip off the taxi light when i turn on the Landing light... but yeah, the 3 way landing light switch is mouse only.

Are the cowl flaps modelled? I don't see any change visually or in terms of temps when opening or closing?

What I did to mellow the pitch out so it feels more like an actual 310, is adjust the elevator extremity dead zone to +20%.  Give it a try.

"so it feels more like an actual 310", you say?  There has been a lot of effort, time and expertise put into getting the flight model accurate, including intensive testing and advising by three real world C310R pilots to get it right.

I'm curious as to why you think you know better than those real world pilots?

That is what I said, it feels like a real 310.......Try reading what I posted again.

There's no need for the sarcastic reply.  I already read it several times.  You said you mellowed the pitch so it feels like an actual 310 and you suggested trying it.

I'm still curious as to how you know what an actual 310 feels like?

I flew one for a couple of hours with a fellow pilot that owns one. Only takes a few minutes to tell how the aircraft responds to elevator inputs.

They are - but they're internal in the nacelles

I don't think they are, if I remember correctly they were on the bottom of the engine cowling.

Thanks, I still don't see any difference in temp with them though. Easy way to test, one engine open, one closed, get the same temps.

I remember that I had small variations in temperatures during testing in very cold OAT. I would assume that the effect of cowl flaps is more pronounced in hot weather.

Really enjoying this aircraft.  Does anyone remember the old DreamFleet version back in the FS9 days?  A really cool feature Milviz could add is a soundset option for headphones in the way Dreamfleet did.  What Dreamfleet accomplished was giving the user the option in which they modeled what the interior would sound like if you had a headset on (which all GA pilots have on in flight).  This current set sounds as if you're sitting the plane without a headset which never happens in the real world especially for the pilots.  I always offer headsets to all passengers.  A good headset cuts down considerably on the aircraft engine noise. Milviz's soundset is actually louder on the inside than it is on the outside at cruise.  This actually is true to life based on the distance from the aircraft in the outside view versus your right up close to the engines sitting inside the plane. Either way it would be nice to have the option.  Great job Milviz. 👍

A2A had that on a couple of their aircraft, there was a  click spot on the mike cable that switched it into headset mode. There is a headphone setting in MSFS  under general options, I have never tried it.

Really.  I think I've got the picture ....  Thanks for explaining.

Has anyone found any of the nine easter eggs I heard are to be found in the C310?
