But that's a 750 and a 650, which is the same as I get with my free PMS and payware TDS.

I think the poster was hoping for dual 750's, just like we have in the Cessna 414. I've quickly become used to side-by-side 750s, it's hard to go back to the small screen of the 650!

This is interesting as I have the Payware TDS GTNXi and I only seem to have the option for Dual 750's in the 310. I have been looking everywhere trying to make it 750/650 but am at a loss.

The only light that isn't currently working as intended for me with the Alpha, is the Landing Light.  I would presume that is because the Landing Light in the 310 is a "3 way" switch.  Trying to figure this one out myself also.

I'm also wondering what the correct binding for the aux fuel pumps are.

If I move the taxi light to the on position on the HA, I get a ticking sound as if it were stuck in an on and off position.

I have never had to create another profile for my yoke. This is a good time to find out how to create one. 😀

Mate, I think you are missing something here... this is the last thing I will say on this, but I don't want people confused. In your screenshot, it shows a 750 on the left and a 650 on the right. There is no such thing as half a 750... The only option for two 750s is with TDS in this airplane. Otherwise, just like the JF arrows it is one 750, and one 650... which is a nice option to have! The 650 is a smaller version of the 750. Someone posted the garmin links showing the two units above. It is like the 530 and 430. Anyways, enjoy the airplane, and call it what you want... but for others... don't get confused.

OK, I see what you are saying. so the screen size determines if it is a 650 or 750. I totally forgot about that, because it has been a few years since used a 650. I'm getting to old for this stuff....😉

Got my GTN 750 problem resolved, the PMS gTN 750 file was corrupted.

also have the PMS 750 (premium version) but couldn't get it working - will try and update to the latest version - but do you need

any special 310 file or just the base 750 folder installed?

I have the 750 base folder  in my community folder. When you start the 310, there is a button on the pad, where you select the PMS750. If that button doesn't see the 750 folder, it won't load it.

I'm just solely curious here - why have a tiny GTN 650 when you can have the larger screen on a dual 750 setup?

it sounds like you might have the "toggle" keybind set for your taxi lights.  Try using the "set" keybind.

Yes that is strange because the panel space is large enough.

Yeah, the 650 is a smaller unit. I am not sure why you can't have dual 750s with the PMS mod though, there is room for it. Some airplanes don't have the panel room for the big 750... so they throw the 650 in where it fits into a 430 slot or other slot on the panel.

I don't think its a matter of being "old" I am not old yet, and I get mixed up on all sorts of things... regardless, the setup you are running is a good one. Now, if only I can get it to capture an RNAV glidepath.... lol.

Its when you retract the gear, I believe the 310 flips the taxi light off because it is on the nose gear. Then your honeycomb switch is on and clicking. At least thats what I found.

Correct.  The taxi light is spring-loaded to automatically flip to off when you retract your gear, otherwise you might have a taxi light burning with the gear retracted in that small bay it fits into - not good.

Also, MSFS seems to have other physics that XP may not have, such as the environmental air flow around the vicinity of the aircraft, as Seb showed in one of the last Twitch Q&As.  It looked like a more advanced environmental air flow algorithm within some 1 or 2 miles of the aircraft is already modelled, or will be modelled in an upcoming SU.

Ya how CFD is being computed by solving the Navier Stokes equations with configurable discreteness as detailed in https://devsupport.flightsimulator.com/storage/attachments/2425-debug-aircraft-cfd.pdf is very interesting.. as is the soft-body physics simulation which I hope 3PD aircraft will also take advantage of soon.  I believe environmental air flow wise it's all there in SU9 now, just the visualizations to come in SU10 (but perhaps also with more enhancements to core air flow physics).

Ah that makes sense.  Thanks for the clarification.

That combined with the 3 way Landing Light means it's probably best to just stick to controlling the lights with the mouse inside the virtual cockpit then.

I may be wrong. I've been flying with the freeware PMS earlier this afternoon, which is definitely 750/650. And also the JF Turbo Arrow, which is 750/650. And the C410, which is 750/750. I did try the C310 with the TDS this morning and whilst I remembered it as 750/750, it's probably just me getting my planes mixed up!

You are not mixed up on that note...My first flight with the MV 310 this morning was with two TDS 750 GTN's, side by side.
