June 18, 20223 yr RealTurb products replicating mechanical turbulence from terrain worked well for P3D. I just don't see this or any of their similar products as being necessary when MSFS already has it all built in. June 18, 20223 yr I use this in P3D 5. or did when I had P3D installed. Seemed to work okay. MSFS, several versions ago did this effect pretty good, but lately I don't think Asobo's effect is as good as it was. I can remember in light GA's you could cross higher elevations from windward side to leeward and the effect was pretty good. Don't notice it as much now. It is the same people or group as the one in P3D. June 18, 20223 yr For your next topics, instead of writing "this", put something useful, it makes it less annoying to read. For example, "anyone heard of RealTurb CAT?". Of course, this would still be a terrible title, but less so.

It simulates clear air turbulence, which is not simulated by MSFS. Still I don't think it's necessary, because flying over a mountain at 38000 feet apparently shakes your aircraft pretty good according to MSFS... that's enough clear air turbulence for my taste 😄 For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
June 18, 20223 yr Just remember Bob, any post requires a couple of pre-requisites, check dictionary and thesauruses, then you might be safe and not incur demerits, and by all means, check with the thought police first, maybe even pay a little extra for a posting permit, that will surely cover all possible contingencies. June 18, 20223 yr Well, the bad part of this, is that anyone at anytime, depending on how the day is going, might create such a scenario, even I myself. Nobody is perfect and depending on one's current mood, anything can happen. For myself this thread was the answer to boredom at the moment. I wanted to see what it was about. I think when one gets on a forum all self discipline can sometimes evaporate. Unless your spouse is in the room, and then you know you better play it straight. June 18, 20223 yr I don’t think is needed in MSFS. As usual with some P3D developers, just a money grab opportunity. Edited June 18, 20223 yr by omarsmak30 AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 6000MHZ RAM, RX7900XT, FreeSync 165hz 1440p display

July 5, 20223 yr I think it is fair enough that any OP should include enough detail in the title to indicate what the thread is about. Bruce Bruce Bartlett Frodo: "I wish none of this had happened." Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."
