Yeah, it is a puzzle. It was the same in XP11 as well. One 'fix' I have found is the same as some other user here - if I disable surface wind completely (delete the surface band), then the windmill effect is not so bad. I can at least take off.

The trim is a funny one. I have been trialling SPAD.neXt to see if that will help. And have been going through a whole lot of aircraft to see if there is a pattern. One is is that the trim controls on my CH Eclipse yoke seem to be a problem. They do in fact work, but so slowly as to be hardly noticeable. Bit weird as it is just a button push in actuality. But using a trim control on another device seems to work better. At least in other aircraft. In the PC12, still no trim indication at all, although I think it could actually be working. It is hard to tell as so hard to get the plane in the air!

It is a real shame. I did hundreds of hours in XP11 on the STMA PC12/47. At one point I was in FSEconomy doing flights pretty much all the time. Almost a second job! Love the plane. The Carenado one not so much, although it certainly looks nice. I hear SWS is going to bring out one (or two) variations pretty soon. Am looking forward to that.

Carenado are not know for putting out fixes to their aircraft, so not holding my breath there. It only cost me $35 or so, so not terribly worried.

 

Is it my setup or known problem, Fuel QTY and Engine oil has no indications also have no pointers on the TRQ, ITT and NG? All digital read outs are working fine.  Anything I could have missed anyone can think of for me to try.

Otherwise I have no problems flying it and enjoy my flights, starting all my flights cold and dark.

How on earth did this thing pass the Asobo/Microsoft Marketplace quality assessment?

We ought to pressure Asobo/MS to at least allow refunds if there are gaping flaws in a released product (and certainly for products that have months pass before those issues are addressed).

If you‘re using the SU11 Beta, go to settings - experimental and disable ‚use nanovg‘ or whatever it‘s called. For me after turning this to off all the displays are shown correct.

Sorry about your problems Shaun, but I have not seen anything like this at all.  I am on SU11 beta.  And as for 'legacy' mode, no new aircraft should use that setting, as all aircraft natively developed for the sim should be on the modern mode, but if it works for you, then great. 

One thing I do on the modern flight model is turn on rudder assistance rather than mess with the torque setting, and this works very well.  You still get a bit of a tug, but it is easily correctible and it feels good. The aircraft still feels alive and acts as it should, but it is very much toned down.  If you don't have proper rudder pedals, this is always a good way to help control the swing on take off.

I've solved all my problems with the buggy Carenado PC-12. Try it. I guarantee a 100 percent success rate!

 

hola tengo un problema con la bateria despues de 1:30 o mas se acaba la bateria y tengo que poner el STBY BUS por que si no me quedo sin instrumentos saben por que pasa eso ya vi muchos tutoriales y no se como evitar eso

What?

There is no such thing.

The marketplace check that an addon complies with MS restrictions like no weapons, gunsights etc and that all marketplace material meets the MS standard for things like image size and content.  Nothing else.

Mantenga el interruptor de alimentación externo encendido para evitar que se agote la batería.

Hello everyone. I'm experiencing, since the beginning, a very strange behavoir when setting NAV- active VOR frequencies.
I suffer unmanageble stuttering when NAV VOR frqs are selected. so I'm unable to use radionavigation and ILS. 

No changes if I use GNS430 ot GTN750 (pm50). Everything is ok for all other aircrafts. Have you ever heard that or... any idea?

Others have reported similar behavior in the PC12.. no fix though..

Maybe the upcoming PC12 update will fix it..

I stoped using it because of the FPS drop, what a shame really this aricraft is really cool, but I'm waiting for an update or SWS PC12 wich I already planned to buy even before Careando PC12 came out.

Every week on the dev update I'm hoping to see the PC12 on the list of marketplace updated products, I think Carenado might be really busy working on unanonced aircraft the the 40th anniversary update and this is why the PC12 is still without any update. One thing is sure, Carenado lack of comunication is really frustrating, they have to understand that this is really not customer friendly and that could keep potential customers awway from their next realeases

A lot of us have this issue. In order to fly this plane without severe stutters, avionics failure etc you have to handfly all approaches. The second you switch to ILS etc it can cause a stutter fest.

I have been emailing Carenado weekly and its still the same excuse.

Asobo/MS will not allow a refund. Believe me I have tried.
