have one  main sim PC with Steam and second with Store , both running beta , i know what i do it always worked ,

Strange its no Nonsens that it always its much more seamless update in the Steam version, if you have both you know,

SU 10 BETA have worked perfect for me not a single CTD on both systems , run Win10 on Store Win 11 on Steam

Man, word not allowed! Should have stayed awake. And that decrabbing of the 747 at the end there - wow! That must have required some serious rudder input. And - there were other bits in that video that were quite awesome too 😉

On a more serious note though (sorry to be a party pooper). Anyone got issues with alt-tabbing in the beta? This started for me on .18 I think. Or maybe it was .17. If I alt-tab to Edge, the sim freezes up like a lion in Antarctica. Every time. Before I could alt-tab until the tab key got busted. Now it's... broken. Gotta use my iPad whilst flying for Avsim and charts.

beta v 1.27.18.0 - full screen or windowed, no problem.

Pretty sure there is a setting for that. Somewhere. In the sim (I think). Danged if I can remember where it is though.

Shortly, shorly ... well, I think it will be release for Monday no more;-)

Would be interested to know if there is 🙂 Although it's a bit strange, as I never had any problem alt-tabbing before. Sigh. Maybe @turbomax is right...

Hmm, reading what Steam users have to say on the official forums. Mixed reviews. Some say it's the same as .18, some say it's a little bit better, and some say it's a CTD nightmare...

Would be pretty pointless Monday, I think they release the update for real by Tuesday or Thursday. Still need the nvidia driver anyways... 

So what do we have to look forward to with this SU? It's been a while that this thing was cooking. Can anyone confirm if they fixed the Text-to-Speech issue where the ATC take off clearance was mispronounced with something something Microsoft something?

We can look forward to: 

• Better performance for some (not all) RTX owners due to DLSS
• Potentially amazing performance and CPU multithreading with DX12. Let's hope they nail it like they did back in July and the first beta
• Better low cloud layer depiction
• The introduction of gusts
• Better interpolation between METAR and non-METAR areas
• Word not allowed, can't remember anything else right now off the top of my head

I haven't noticed anything odd with the takeoff clearance though.

Probably on Monday.  Asobo employees aren’t going to work through the weekend, and to be honest, they shouldn’t work that weekend too because it’s just a beta build and the Content Manager problems have been temporarily fixed by reverting the beta build to .18 on the Microsoft Store version.  The Asobo employees need the weekend off,

The only time I would want Asobo employees to work overtime is when there is a showstopper bug on the live version where they need to do an immediate hotfix.

I got the update thru Steam about 12 hours ago before retiring, quick, painless, not much changed from previous, no drama.

I can imagine a brick and mortar chainstore where you have to jump thru nasty hoops at the cash register to finalize your purchases. And a  poor adjustments window for after purchasing. With long lines of  people waiting there.

No wonder giants like Walmart  and Amazon are eating competitors lunch. They started up at the beginning by first building a fast and pleasant cart system and help desk. Steam is almost as efficient.
