They have rolled back the update to the people using MS Store. Something went wrong.

I’m on Steam here and everything is fine.

do they really want us to try that x-anadu 12 simulator?

Its not Xanadu. Its earth. Not an accurate depiction but a 'plausible' one.

Dear God, Please, Please no full re-install.

There's always a risk of re-install when opting in beta.
Maybe you can consider not to join a beta next time.
I myself do not because of these risks.

Still on 1.27.18. When I tried to start the sim one hour ago, I had a CTD just before arriving the "looking for updates" window. This happened three times in a row. Finally on the fourth attempt, the sim reached the Welcome screen, but w/o being updated. The 1.27.20 has not been installed which I think is good for now.

I suspect that the DX 12 and NVidia driver fix may show up in the open beta for SU 11.

Really? I think it’ll be released early next week.

Is more or less the exakt release day known when the release candidate from SU10 is hitting the scene ?

cheers 😉

I myself do not because of these risks.

And you can easily reduce the implied consequences by just backing up the MSFS Official folder before joining the beta. Then you can copy it back to its place instead of downloading it again, should it ever be necessary.

My simming system: AMD Ryzen 5800X3D, 32GB RAM, RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB, LG 38" 3840x1600

So many times have people been told to buy Msfs on steam. There are never problems with updating.

MSI RTX 5090,

64GB RAM 6000MHz DDR5,
