I think that for the first time since this sim launched, everyone is flying instead of posting. The complaint threads have slowed to a trickle. Most everything works pretty well. Life is good in Simland.

I would have never imagined a little over 3 years ago while I was cussing at P3D or a supporting application for screwing up yet another flight that I would be sitting here today enjoying a flight as much as I did this morning. I had fantastic scenery, a super airplane (Fenix), live traffic (AIG) and 2 beautiful airports (FB KIAD and FSDT KORD). Exactly the kind of flight that I chased for so long in the previous versions.

@MDFlier I agree with you,100%. My interest in flight simming had waned, but last year I bought a long-overdue new PC, installed MSFS, and have never looked back. I'm in the middle of a meandering RTW flight, and with the scenery and weather effects, every moment of it has been thoroughly enjoyable. I'd even say that it has rejuvenated my interest in aviation generally, particularly GA and airlines. Shortcomings notwithstanding, MSFS is a triumph.

Yes, but it can be turned around!  Never miss an opportunity to inject some humour and some good old British sarcasm!  

In fact, I have upvoted your comment so the thread gets an even better rating.  After all, I have also learnt that Friday the 11th follows Thursday the 10th. 
This thread is filling the gaps in my education! 

PS. Only 26 hours to go.  I am jumping into the Spruce Goose first to see how those eight engines are controlled, and see if it can actually leave the water before it goes from LA to Hawaii!

Oh yeah, you are right. Two days ago I flew with the Fenix from Vienna to Cologne at about 12 o'clock (it was actually 8 in the evening 😄). After takeoff I've placed myself in cabin view and watched outside, blasting out of the fog, the sun reflecting on the wing, hills with realistic scenery standing out of the fog ... and the best - the plane behaved absolutely plausible in each state of flight - even ground handling is decent now.

I am happy.

My MSFS is running so well now with zero problems, I am a bit afraid of this update tomorrow. I was thinking that maybe I could avoid the update  by just starting MSFS, and never exiting the program or turning off my PC...😉

There hasn’t been any major issues for me at least on the beta.

I'll rate this thread 7/11 as I had several good laughs :)

There's always the option of taking wire cutters to your internet connection. ✂️

MSFS has been running very well for me as well. I am both excited and leary of the pending SU11 upgrade.
