December 30, 20223 yr I can't speak for everyone, but there are so many CTDs now that this program has become essentially useless.

I haven't had a CTD in almost a year and a half. I fly about 14 flights a week for a VA, all over the world, in the Fenix.
December 30, 20223 yr I've been able to trace all my CTDs to addons and/or setting my LOD too high. Never have any issues with the vanilla MSFS Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
December 30, 20223 yr It's been pretty solid for me in recent months. Last time I had a real problem is when a Windows Update or something caused issues for a lot of people. December 30, 20223 yr I haven't had a CTD in years (well 2020). But if you are having them then this sim is clearly garbage. Millions of users must all be using MSFS everytime they want to reboot their machine. On a serious note, remove all addons in the community folder and make sure your drivers are all up to date.

If your system is behaving this way, it is your system or setup that is “useless”, not MSFS. There are literally MILLIONS who are flying it daily and finding it of great use. It's about ensuring the add-ons are compatible with the latest SU. That, plus up-to-date drivers and checking if any overclocks are stable. December 30, 20223 yr I think I have had one CTD in the last 6 months. Of all the simulators I have used MSFS is the most stable and best performing. MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.
December 30, 20223 yr I have to say that MSFS is possibly the most stable flight simulator I have ever used. Specs: 11900K (5ghz), 64GB ram 3600mhz, RTX 3080 ti
December 30, 20223 yr I have a lot of addons for the City and County of San Diego, which is where I do most of my flying. Since SU 11 I consistently experience a CTD (ALMOST every time) when flying any aircraft around the county. But, using the EXACT same set of AddOns in Los Angles county, or anywhere else, I NEVER experience a CTD. SO - I am convinced one of the AddOns for San Diego is not SU 11 compatible. I have updated as many as I can but still CTD. I am pretty sure none of these crashes are MS or ASOBO caused problems. AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D / MSI X870 Tomahawk Mobo / 64 GB DDR5 memory / RTX 4070 Super with 12 GB VRAM / AORUS FO48U 4k display NVMe for Drive C, an NVMe device dedicated to Flight Sim 2024 and a separate NVMe device for Flight Sim 2020 and an NVMe dedicated to 500GB of addons managed by AddonsLinker / 1 GB Comcast Xfinity Internet connection / HP Reverb G2 / Tobii 5 Head & Eye Tracking
