January 11, 20233 yr Just did a quick circuit from 27L in the PMDG 737-800, with FSLTL active and performance was much, much better then the previous version. The previous version was a stuttery nightmare for me to the point I didn't use it. V3 is a big improvement and I'll happily fly into here now. Not prefect, but fantastic update. Thanks iniBuilds! For me, this was the best approach into EGLL that I've ever had, even on a 15-minute 'traffic pattern' flight. 3 hours ago, Rockliffe said: I would definitely buy this if I hadn't so many serious concerns about performance. There should be fewer concerns. Two points to note: The scenery details are controlled by iniBuild's own product manager. You can customise these details to make it look as bland and performance-friendly as you like. (Although, I don't believe these features are available to customise if the scenery is bought anywhere other than through the iniBuilds store). The performance improvements seem to have been achieved, in part, through the late pop-ups of objects. A bit more noticeable than before, IMO. That said, there are a lot more objects around the scenery and because of this, it feels a lot more alive than v1 or v2. Using OLOD of 200, TLOD of 180 and Vsync locked to 30 FPS, performance on approach to rwy 27L was very good until about 8nm from touchdown. Bounced around between 25 and 29 FPS, until short final, where it dropped to a low of 24 FPS as more objects and static AI traffic started to load in. (While heading for take-off, I unlocked my frames and had AI traffic disabled. FPS was between 35 and 37, briefly reaching a maximum of 40 FPS). 12 GB of VRAM appears to be the minimum to enjoy the scenery with all the eye candy that *I* stuff into my sim. If you are like me and like lots of detail, I don't recommend changing views or panning around unless you have a top-end GPU. Performance dropped to as low as 15 FPS as l panned around while parked at T5A. It recovered once the sim flushed the textures of different views. Running: Fenix A320, Orbx London landmarks city pack, We Love VFR region 1, REX AccuSeason, Real Traffic + PSXT (using FSLTL and AIG AI models), live weather, as well as some additional apps that run externally to the sim. I had all settings in the scenery turned on, except for landside cars and extra ground clutter. Overall, very happy! Well, if you're running it with all that, then yeah, I'd say they did a good job...hehe. That just goes to show the power of MSFS right there. Not to mention PG in the surrounding area (still waiting on ASOBO/Bing optimization and FNX displays re-writes coming). Just with the FNX incoming optimization alone could be worth a ton. 🙂 I had all settings in the scenery turned on, except for landside cars and extra ground clutter. Overall, very happy! Jeff D. January 11, 20233 yr To be honest, Heathrow is a massive hub. If you want scenery that does it justice, it *will* give a performance hit. It's simply physics. IniBuilds gives ample options to remove elements in order to improve performance. IMHO, one of the best airports in MSFS from this point of view, if not the best. January 11, 20233 yr FYI - If you have bought it directly from Inibuilds and don't see the configuration options to enable/disable certain things make sure to go and download the latest version of the IniManager and it should then appear. January 11, 20233 yr You don't need the inimanager to configure, you can just do it in the files of the scenery.

Pity they don't email users advising of the update, like so many others do ☹️ I received an e-mail from them notifying me about this update. One of the advantages of buying from the original vendors. Usually I prefer buying through Orbx or Aerosoft because it saves me from checking 100s of addons by hand. Inibuilds has a great addon manager too that has the advantage of allowing you to configure the addons. It might be nice though if some basic configuration for addons could be set in the simulator for all addons, like enabling static aircraft or airport interiors etc. Trouble is, Asobo can build it, third parties have to adopt it. January 11, 20233 yr So glad they have made some of these options configurable. I dont need all the clutter and internals to be honest, just a good airfield and gates.
