They've already injected a controversial subject into the show which relates to the cause of the pathogen. January 21, 20233 yr I watched about the first 45 minutes: I found the initial plot-line very confusing - learned much more after reading a review of the series. I actually found The Walking Dead to be more clear cut, and the main characters more sympathetic. (Did not know it was also a video game). May not continue to watch...
January 21, 20233 yr I was hoping it would be available on Prime Video in the UK too as I don't have Sky Atlantic. But, It doesn't seem to be available for us unfortunately. I have played the game on PlayStation and apparently, the story on the show ties in very closely to the game anyway so ill wait until I cant find the boxset somewhere.

Yes, it is close to the game so I'm told, even down to some of the scenes being close to the games cutscenes.
