Believe me if it was a better experience for me I would employ it - just like everyone else I want the best MSFS experience I can possibly get. I have the hardware for it and then some. If it makes no difference for me whatsoever and I still get a fluid, smooth, totally stutter free performance then there is absolutely no point in changing, other than heating my office/study during this cold spell.

Okay, enough of the debate about 60fps versus 30fps. People are entitled to their opinion on both sides of the argument but they're also entitled to respect and not be told they're wrong in choosing the frame rate of their choice.

Start another topic if you want to debate this to death. This is about the AMD processor versus the Intel. Back on topic please.

The certification of the Level D simulator requires the frame rate to be locked at 60.

I wonder what they are using now if they were using 60 FPS back then.

P3D! with REX softclouds. it's easy since they didn't have to simulate/display any cockpit stuff, only the outside scenery.

Even if it doesn't 'demolish' it, its a better buy anyways because it isn't EOL unlike the 13900K.

I do not know about the 7950X3D but my 5900X combined with the 3090 Ti FTW3 at 4K still does a pretty good job and the CPU is far more less used at 4K than the GPU and for the GPU if I do not lock the frames or lower the settings stays at 99-100%. So for me the best thing to do is to switch to the RTX 4090 😄

I was CPU limited at 4k w 5900x and 3080. 7900x3d is a beast cpu.

7900x3d , 64gb 6200mhz 30CL Ram, RTX 3080

Did you use AI traffic? Perhaps due to that, I do not use AI.

4090 and 7950x3d combo at Inibuilds klax with 4k, tlod 210, fenix, cloudy weather gives min. 41 fps without frame generation.

maybe with ai traffic it will goes down to 30 fps. It looks like that we are far from our 60 fps dream...
