Historical weather is just one of the reasons. 7 minutes ago, Ricardo41 said: We don't need yet another program hogging system resources, running besides MSFS. Which is nice because ActiveSky does not hog any ressources beside MSFS 🙂

If so the sim is depicting night-time weather for a daytime flight. Realistic? Hmmm. Ray (Cheshire, England). March 9, 20233 yr Would be nice to have for historical weather, but for the most part, I really don't miss Active Sky. I don't mind super-quick update time, but the daytime/nighttime issue is annoying imho. Either Asobo/MS tackle this, or a 3rd party with historical weather. There may be more serious issues, but I would welcome a solution. Either Asobo/MS tackle this, or a 3rd party with historical weather. Until such time as Asobo / Microsoft release the relevant info into the SDK or Weather API it will be extremely difficult for any 3rd party to inject weather into the sim. MSFS has been out for 2.5 years now and they still haven’t done it. It’s baffling why not. They said at the outset they were happy to work with developers. That looks a little hollow now. I feel sorry for Hi-Fi. ASXP is their first new product in a while. I hope they can stay afloat in what must be challenging times for them. Ray (Cheshire, England). March 9, 20233 yr Yeah it is a pity that MSFS does not support the Simconnect weather API. With PSXT + RealTraffic you can go back in time which is a great option. However, I cannot set the historical weather, that comes with RealTraffic, in MSFS. 😡 Edited March 9, 20233 yr by kiek
