30% off is such a joke. V1 was a portover cash grab. Now so is V2 on the dime of V1 owners. Insulting is a word that comes to mind.

Does anyone know how the discount might work for Marketplace purchasers of V1?  As far as I know, there’s nothing that lists previous purchases, other than what is available to download in user profile.  Of course, it will probably take three months for V2 to show up there anyway.

I would stay from Asobo MP entirely. ORBX, Contrails, InBuilds and even Simmarket Apps are your best friends.

No one forced you to buy the “P3D port”, no one is forcing you to buy v2. Stop crying and buy it, or don’t. Only you can determine the value of $1. For me, I’ll probably fly in there once or twice every 6 months or so. $3 per visit per year…not too bad imo, lord knows I’ve spent way more money on worse addons for this sim.

Same here. Initially it worked well several times and then suddenly I got a CDT on every 2nd attempt. It‘s the only payware airport I have that this happens, so I‘ll wait and see as well.

I'm Irish, not Swiss although I do live in Switzerland. I can tell you that I didn't get where I am today by blowing $12 on cappuccinos anywhere. I believe in value and not being ripped off. I don't mind paying for anything that is worth it but I'm a man of principle and don't like people who try to pull a fast one.

A lot of people are salty about MK Studio's charge for EIDW v2.

But the real scam is how much those guys are charging for EIDW v1 these days. I know inflation is high, but this is just ridiculous. 

As I'm upgrading to EIDW v2, if anyone would like to buy my copy of EDIW v1, I'd be happy to let it go at half price. Dm me if interested.

As I said, I don't really agree with you. Whilst EIDW v1 was a bit of a disappointment, EIDW v2 is a very substantial rework and I'd expect to have to pay for it. MK Studios do good work, and their airports are pretty keenly priced.

Having said all that, I've got to reiterate what a legend you've been to the flightsim community. It's amazing how much work you've done for us for free.

If you want a free upgrade for EIDW v2, dm me and I'll happily pay for it. You deserve it, mate. Cheers!

I've got lots of payware which has had significant upgrades for free. No one else has done this to my knowledge so far in MSFS. Maybe it's normal elsewhere. 

And when you add up ongoing updates, Indiafoxtecho spring to mind, there's probably more overall work. 

Since this V1 sounds like it was sub par and broken for many, though I think it's not mod dependent at that location, I'd be giving a free upgrade to those who have so far paid my rent.

Chances are they may not be paying any further rent if I annoy them. 

The money made to recoup the work should come from fresh customers. Since this relaunch is so feted it's not as if it's slipping out without a squeak.

Do any of you have MK Studio Lisbon for MSFS. If so can you confirm if Rwy 03/21 has changed to 02/20?

I ask because the promised update for the P3Dv4/5 version has yet to be delivered despite them saying so on their Facebook page on 1 June 2022.
