MK Studio's Dublin V2

Featured Replies

Apparently this has been released according to FSElite.

However I can't currently see any link to buy it. I have V1 and there seems no information if this is a free upgrade or paid upgrade.

Interestingly Orbx have deleted V1 so maybe V2 is free!

.... "they said on Facebook they'll provide a discount for owners of V1 but won't be a free upgrade"

That seems to be a "Tease"......not a release announcement.  Although I see that Simmarket has deleted version 1 but no version 2 is available....yet.  Hmmmm

FSElite have now deleted the article, it's looks as though they jumped the gun.

Do not go through FSElite, they just repeat the info. Go directly to the dev FaceBook page. Bologna airport is also on its way

I don't care how much extra work was done, it's poor form to milk your existing customers.

They're by far the most likely to be your future customers too. But not with moves like this.

Absolutely, especially given the fact that a lot of users, including myself, had real problems getting V1 to run without CTDs when approaching the airport.

I finally managed to get it to run reliably, but to this day, I'm really not too sure how...

Ah... so you expect people to work for free?

Release is tomorrow. They didn’t want to create an extra trailer since it’s so close to the actual release.

Instant buy for me.

Make an effort and read what has been added - brand new runway alone suffice. It's a normal practice for scenery developers to charge a premium in a situation like this one.

I’ll always happily take free when available, but if there’s a lot of work that’s gone into a redo/airport facilities update paying for the additional work done (ie not full price again) is fair.
