I guess Activesky too. The latest version is 8538 (that was just released a few days ago), but it doesn't say anything about v5.4 on the compatibility list.

The latest Active Sky update is compatible with 5.4.  Testing it out right now.   Chaseplane works,  but comes with an error that static cameras and smooth scrolling are disabled because of not being updated for 5.4,  Fslabs is not compatible as mentioned above.

Until my numerous add-ones are compatible (PMDG, FS Labs, Quality Sims, etc,) I’ll stick wit 5.3.  What’s another month or 2 or perhaps infinity?

WOW....

PS: today is Tuesday, lol

Based on changelog and nature of particular addons, only 3 addons need the update:

- FS Labs

- ChasePlane

- ActiveSky

Other addons (PMDG, other aircrafts) should work

What about antialiasing and TrueSky?

no obligation/mandatory to update 😍

Looking through the fixes I didn’t see anything for extra parking positions at default airports. The other is few default airport buildings appearing until Scenery Complexity is set to Very Dense

I can neither see anything about this. Has anyone checked in-sim?

Lossless Scaling for all my sims. What a godsend...

Mobile rig: ASUS Zenbook UM425QA (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H APU @3.2 GHz and boost disabled, 1 TB M.2 SSD, 16 GB RAM, Windows 11 Pro). Running FS9 there .

VKB Gladiator NXT Premium Left + GNX THQ as primary controllers. Xbox Series X|S wireless controller as standby/mobile.

I certainly don't expect to see all the developers who abandoned P3D to come rushing back with updates for this. They're way to busy making good money developing products for MSFS.

I'm not going to lie, after the length of time since the last update this is a bit underwhelming, unless this is just a final update to v5 with v6 around the corner?  Who knows.  We are about a month away from the Expo, which I'm attending so I can patiently wait untl then.  My pit is not ready to fly right now anyway so I'm in no rush to update anything to V.whatever

I would not worry about v6 not being in works. Remember three years ago when P3D v4.5 HF3 was released alongside v5?

I definitely don't see any improvements to AA.
