Hi all,Miss out 1, 2D panel with wide screen support..B/Regards...Alex Ooi

My request is simple.PLEASE DO NOT RELEASE FS11 Next Month! I just Got FSX running smoothly!

Driveable roads were already mentioned earlier, but it seems it is already being done in FS. I recently stumbled across a site owned by an addon developer for FS who has made a number of high performance cars for use with FS. He is planning a drive around the world in FS.He has made a Porsche, Corvette, Ferrari, Nissan Skyline, Hummer, among others. All of these have a functional animated VC, and you can drive and race these hotrods on the roads of FS. All of them are available for download for free at his site, and also here at the AVSIM file library. What is interesting is that he is planning an around the world trip in FS - by driving on the roads: http://www.flightsimgroundvehicles.com/rtwtour2.htmHere are a few screenies:A few available vehicles:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/178608.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/178609.jpgPart of the "trip around the world":Scenic drivehttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/178610.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/178611.jpgCity drivehttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/178612.jpgMost of the roads are very driveable, it's just some that a bit bumpy, and it would great if they were smoothed out a bit. It's a nice way to see the countryside, and tour around the big cities as well. :)

The ability to start in-flight at any desired position on the world map. After clicking on the desired location, a list prompt could then appear for selecting from a few different starting altitudes eg 3000ft 5000ft 10000ft.Much better bigger (world) map, that one can drag, etc. Ability to zoom out to see the entire earth, then rotate it and zoom back in (as in Google Earth) and select an airport or mid-air start location. Ability to add a layer to show names of towns and places etc.And as someone already mentioned, the ability to click on any airport from the map and select the starting runway (preferably from a visual of the airport runway layout).Ability to select a starting position in mid air On-Final towards any selected runway.More sound effects (Eg cheering crowd when flying near a sports stadium, dock yard noises at the docks, sound of cars and trucks near a freeway or city, seagull sounds at the beach, ships horn near a passenger liner, clanging of stays against masts near a jetty full of yachts etc)Improvements to aircraft sound effects. (eg Bell 206B helicopter has great engine sound effects that change as you throttle up or down, in contrast with the R-22 Robinson where the engine sound remains flat and constant at all times.)As already mentioned:Much better and more accurate world terrain landclass, (with no barren desert patches). Better real deserts, (as in FS9). Improved word wide terrain mesh. Improved accuracy of lakes and coastlines and cities etc.True full overcast cloud, that one can fly far above and look down on a blanket of white to the horizon. Bigger and better clouds and weather effects in general. Improved snow and rain.Blue haze effects (or as Hendrix would say, Purple haze)Ability to always start from the same position where you left off on your last flight (whether at an airport or in mid-air).And as usual, more great default aircraft (with some improvements to existing ones).

1)Cloud shadows. I want the ground/sky to be dark when cloudy.2)Sloped runways3)Better performance

A Microsoft-version of Tileproxy built in, using high performance servers optimized for serving FSX photorealistic terrain in realtime. Streaming 3D buildingsStreaming realtime road traffic conditions (traffic jams etc). Streaming cloud cover (from realtime satellite maps - not just generic weather station reports, I mean the actual cloud patterns as seen from space)Streaming air traffic (possibly from the 20 minute delayed ATC radar data that you can already view online on some web sites)And more cowbells.

Nice!!!I'd vote for that!

Okay my wishlist:1/ Improved ATC as already said, with Voice control as an option.2/ Virtual crew and pax, so they react to what you do, maybe a Co-Pilot and crew you can talk to as per ATC.3/ How about a decent paintkit ala the old NASCAR Racing series, with exportable templates to make it easy for even muppets like me to paint the aircraft with our own liveries.4/ Landmark Airlines back.5/ most of the rest already mentioned. Oh, and planes that get dirty would be nice.

1) better ATC2) more voices3) Design the glider plane so that whatever direction you request/announce for departure the tow plane flys in that direction instead of just straight out. Stay in the pattern would be a climbing spiral over the field.4) more kinds of landing gear on the Beaver.5) Make pan/zoom a one handed operation like active camera with the middle wheel on the mouse. Instead of two hands with the mouse and keyboard.6) More system failure options and failures based on usage and overstress.7) No more fake roads in the textures. Use real road data base.8) AI Helo's.9) VFR flights when loaded from the flight planner allows the user to open and close a flight plan via FSS and if the pilot takes flight flo the contorller hands him off to the destination tower controller.10) Allow the user to contact/request clearance into an airspace before they enter it.11) I would really like to have an operations/FBO virtual office room as the free flight menu. Walk around the office to different areas pulls up the different options like go to the map on the wall will pull up location, the tv does weather, the clock does time and season, the safe saves the flight etc. Yes its kind of "gamie" but perhaps do it where once the users walks outside the ops door it loads the flight and starts the user 50 feet or so away from the plane so that we can see the tie down, do a walk around, etc. Walk 50 feet away from the plane and it takes you back to the ops room. 12) DP's and STARS.13) Pilot Controller Lighting.14) When arriving at a field under ATC allow the ATIS to be obtained before APP tells you your approach clearance. Right now the happen at the same time.15) The Comm radios to have working volume knobs.16) the Transponder knob works Off/ Stnby/ On etc.17) Provide more stuff to the new sport pilot rating. Lessons, equipment, etc. This is a great stepping stone for young simmers to take it to the next level.

1) Improved night lighting. Combine nighttime textures with high intensity pinpoint lights which can be seen from VERY long distances. They should also flicker and pulsate subtly in order to simulate atmospherics and ground occlusions. As it is right now, at night, cities look like a yellow smear on a black background when viewed from afar!2) Landing lights that provide realistic illumination, rather than a matte applied to the ground texture. That's it! That's all I want!!

>3/ How about a decent paintkit ala the old NASCAR Racing>series, with exportable templates to make it easy for even>muppets like me to paint the aircraft with our own liveries. You know, I really like this. I'd take it a step further and go with something more like this: for all the GA aircraft, you'd have the option for three or four striping or color patterns and then a color picker for the main color and the stripes and so on. Racing games have been doing that for the better part of a decade now, so it can't be THAT hard to do. I mean, the first repaint I ever did was the Caravan Amphib from 2002 because I wanted a white one with a red and black stripe on the side instead of...blue or green or whatever it was. But if it was just some drop down menus and stuff, you wouldn't even have to know anything at all about being able to work with a texture.Something like this:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/178687.jpg

Hi,here my wish for FS11. The last releases all focused on a special aspect. FS2004 - 'A century of flight' was all dedicated to the huge variety of planes from all decades. FSX - 'Shared Skies' focused on multiplayer and the missions.FS 11 might be titled: 'Become a Pilot Ace'. So, in addition to free-flight and missions, I'd like to have campaigns and careersCareer Mode: 1. multiple careers shall be offered: Airliner Pilot, Bush-Flyer, Rescue Pilot, Fire-Fighter, tourist pilot... Each of them will offer unique challenges.2. Flights in career mode are generated dynamically. Destination, route, weather, pilot/copilot, emergencies, pax. So, you have to take it how it comes. In the campaign mode, in addition to the dynamic flights, ACES shall include some nice missions with special events after a couple of flights.3. All flights shall be connected by a story plot with promotions, increased responsibilities and relocations all over the world (and plenty of information about these locations/airports/planes).Who did ever fly to all high detail airports in FSX? Where are the best bush-flyer regions in the world? Where should i place the float planes? Most simmers do not have any clue!!!Career Infrastructure:1. Improved Comm. for ATC (including SID/STAR and EMERGENCY routines) and Airport Comm. (Dispatcher, ground and tower, etc.)2. Interactive Co-Pilot who supports at checklists, normal/emergency routines...3. Highly detailed rating system for all phases in flight (checklists, taxi, takeoff, climb, descent, approach, landing, parking) In expert mode there shall be no tolerance for any lack of precision! SQUAK mode not set, Taxi-speed limits exceeded, g-forces. What a immersion this will produce for your flight (preparation)... Forget the current logbook, does anybody uses it?4. Dynamic emergency creation system (not preset as of today but based on career parameters)Ok, I think i could continue for hours with new ideas but this should be enough for you to get an understanding of my hope for FS11!And just to make it clear. This will not make FS11 more a 'game' than today. It will just increase the long-term motivation for many customers out there and help to explore the richness of our FS world.I am really curious about your feedback (Paul Lange, what do you think?)Regards,Heiko

Panel lights that are adjustable as to brightness. It is long over due.Regards,Ed

1. improved ATC2. tileproxy integration into FS11
