Take our home country, The Netherlands, for instance. I can assure you it doesn't have that horrible blue tint it has in MSFS. And it is the same in many other parts of the world. The colouring of the streamed scenery is totally of... I have had better experiences with landclass scenery in P3D. Coming from the Netherlands like you I can assure you that I don’t have a horrible blue tint. Not in the Netherlands nor in another country. Each sim uses different base colors, contrast, brightness. Therefore I did spent years to improve P3D shaders. Now with MSFS I use GeForce Gaming filters to improve the overall look. No oversaturrated Polaroid colors or a blue or green tint. I even calibrated my monitors like I did with P3D. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

It used to bug the heck out of me when I used the UK VFR Photographic Scenery in P3D and FSX. Thankfully, ORBx developed TrueEarth Great Britain, and the colour consistency of the landscape in that product is superb. One of many reasons why I am perfectly happy to stick with Flight Unlimited Great Britain in P3Dv4 Each True Earth country package has different coloring. The UK package differs from the NL package.Add other PR scenery packages and you can see where one country stops and the other begins. That is because each country uses different companies for making a PR presentation of their country. Google and Bing both have slightly color differences in certain areas but it looks more real than PR textures per country. I had all of Europe PR + custom AG and adding/making new PR countries and custom AG I did almost on a daily base. Even Orbx PR scenery has repeating buildings. Not anymore now and it looks better. But I do hope V6 will bring just that … 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

June 5, 20233 yr I still use P3D V4 and V5 and think as you can see in the pictures, a V 4.5 still cuts a fine figure. And with all the money I've invested in the P3D, I won't be removing it from the system anytime soon. Prost Torsten Künne

No matter what sim you use, that has always been the case 😐 Would you mind sharing your Geforce Gaming Filter settings? You could make me enjoy MSFS a lot more 😁 Especially when the first A2A aircraft arrives. These planes by the way are the only reason I start up P3D once in a while. June 5, 20233 yr Free of charge no. But I had all the stuff necessary to make P3D look that good already when msfs came out so for me that's why I still use P3DV5. Along with many reasons already mentioned. No reason to repurchase addons I already own, especially expensive addon aircraft. Those are nice screen shots @Sethos. All I was asking for was to keep it nice without the usual personal attacks like "have you ever flown yourself in a C150" etc. I am perfectly fine with people explaining what and why they still prefer an otherwise 13 year old sim. it mostly boils down to different priorities. June 5, 20233 yr I really like the look and feel of P3D over MSFS, but that is just me. I find it funny how people start threads like these. Why does it bother people so much that there are some of us that still like P3D over MSFS? It's almost as if you have to convince yourself that MSFS is better for everyone, and we are beneath you. People enjoy this hobby in many different ways, and for me, it will remain with P3D. I am excited to see what version 6 has in store for those that still enjoy this great platform.
