June 14, 20232 yr Next weekend is shaping up to be a news filled one ... iniBuilds has posted on all its social media channels about a new aircraft for MSFS to be revealed at FSExpo ... the posted closeup of the engine has many speculating on their discord/twitter/facebook/ig. The consensus is that it appears to be a 38-blade CF6 type so candidates include A300, 767, DC10/MD11, 747-200, A330 etc. Likely to be A300 but then again their choice of words with "The Ultimate Airliner experience" suggests something else maybe, also they already announced they're working on the A300 before and this sounds like some secret project. We have some airliner news coming over FSExpo Weekend. For now, we thought we’d leave you with a little teaser 👀 The Ultimate Airliner experience coming soon to Microsoft Flight Simulator! Find out more on Saturday 24th June 2023! 🥳 https://twitter.com/iniBuilds/status/1668240534547189760 Edited June 14, 20232 yr by lwt1971 Len 1980s: Sublogic FS II on C64 ---> 1990s: Flight Unlimited I/II, MSFS 95/98 ---> 2000s/2010s: FS/X, P3D, XP ---> 2020+: MSFS Current system: i9 13900K, RTX 4090, 64GB DDR5 4800 RAM, 4TB NVMe SSD
June 14, 20232 yr Commercial Member Wasn’t there an add on back in the day of fs9 called the ultimate 767? Or have I confused that with something else

That's probably where I got it mixed up from, they were both sold on the Flight1 website, just checked. Level D 767 was a great addon.
June 14, 20232 yr It's clearly the New Cessna Turbofan-propelled ULM. Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
June 14, 20232 yr I would be bummed but nonetheless excited if it turned out to be already-announced A300. Especially in light of the newly-released Ontario scenery with its many cargo operations. If it‘s a 767, I will be absolutely thrilled to the point of exhilaration. Thinking back to my FS9 days, there‘s not an aircraft that I miss more than the Level-D 767. And I have no doubt ini will do a great job regardless of what aircraft they‘re developing. Edited June 14, 20232 yr by thepilot
June 14, 20232 yr Author If it's a Boeing would be good to have another heavyweight developer like iniBuilds in the mix in addition to PMDG... My wishes are for a MD11, 747-200, or 767 in that order. If it's an A300 then by "ultimate airliner experience" they might mean all variants of it including freighter? June 14, 20232 yr I thought that iniBuilds had already announced that they were going to produce an A300 freighter.

Yup they did late last year, i.e. https://msfsaddons.com/2022/11/26/inibuilds-announces-the-airbus-a300-for-msfs-p-40f-landing-next-week/ ... so that's what this likely is, but one can hope it's something else like the MD-11/767/747-200 given the secrecy and wording used 🙂 Edited June 14, 20232 yr by lwt1971 Len 1980s: Sublogic FS II on C64 ---> 1990s: Flight Unlimited I/II, MSFS 95/98 ---> 2000s/2010s: FS/X, P3D, XP ---> 2020+: MSFS Current system: i9 13900K, RTX 4090, 64GB DDR5 4800 RAM, 4TB NVMe SSD
June 14, 20232 yr Yeah, probably the A300 but hope it's a MD-11! June 14, 20232 yr Hope it’s a 787 or A350…..not into old airliners….want modern and up to date aircraft, glass cockpits etc or a gulf stream wud be good! You want an aircraft in FS2020 which is on the same level as the Challenger 650 by Hotstart ….now that is the ultimate aircraft for any flight simulator and being able to walk around it too …properly…I find that very immersive indeed. June 14, 20232 yr I’m guessing it’s an A300 re-announcement but hope it’s a 767…a good quality 767 has been a big hole in the non-X-Plane flight simulators since the Level D version many moons ago… Edited June 14, 20232 yr by regis9 Dave Current System (Running at 4k): ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F, Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 5090, 55" Samsung Q80T, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, EVGA CLC 280mm AIO Cooler, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS & Stick, Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant & Add-on, VirtualFly Ruddo+, TQ6+ and Yoko+, GoFlight MCP-PRO and EFIS, Skalarki FCU and MCDU
