I’ve hesitated a little to ask the question, color me shy, but with the new subscription model that everybody talks about, will it be still a sim or just a game ?

All speculation around msfs2024. My guess to the question is no.

That said i dont think it makes any difference, either way to the simulator or game question.

Obviously just a game!

FSL are now calling themselves gamers in response to someone's predictable nonsense about MSFS on there, gotta love it 😂

I'd be willing to pay $100/month...for freedom of speech.

Is that all? Many individuals throughout history paid for freedom of speech with their lives!🤔

MSFS is already subscription based. You pay $200 every 4 years. So about $5 a month.

Sorry, but isn’t that P2D prices 😉

If MS starts to have GamePass-only titles it will be subscription based. That has not happened until now and nothing indicates they will start.

I think game pass will always be complementary. Microsoft will always sell their games as always. Limiting the ways you can access the games wouldn’t be clever IMO.

About having to have a subscription model for MSFS, I failing to see why this would be the case. I know games that use more data than MSFS and they are running for years without needing to charge for monthly subscription. Also MS is running all on their own infrastructure, the cost is lower than the market prices.
