According to first reports in the official forums it seems that this driver has indeed a fix included for the CTDs (crashes) when using DX12 and nVIDIA freestyle filters. Reason enough for me to update.

Thanks for this - I've been wondering why I couldn't use filters.

Nothing unusual with new drivers on my machine.

If this is true I will be updating ASAP. I've been on an ancient driver because I wasnt able to use my filters.

Yeah, works for me with DX11 and nvidia filters. I don't bother with dx12 any more. Just went from TJSJ to KMIA with the DC-6 and everything was amazing. Traffic on, MP on as well.

Yes, I had to roll back the drivers.   I was getting very long load times and the long freeze where the mouse would not function.  After the rollback, MSFS returned to normal.

Was that by any chance yesterday morning? I was seeing the same and also thought that it was the new drivers, but it turned out to be a server problem with MS. Once that was cleared up the sim ran fine with the new drivers.

Well done David!  Looks like you've Gorn and solved what the problem was!

No wonder, as the reported bug and the fix we talk about regarding usage of filters is related to DX12 only...

I don’t know if it’s the driver the new beta sim build or both, but I don’t seem to be taking a hit on FPS when using a pop out panel on a second display.

I also set G-Sync to both Full Screen and Windowed (vs Full Screen only) so maybe that was the difference? Popping out a panel on a G-sync display definitely seems to create some issues with G-Sync, but moving it to my 2nd display seems to resolve any issues.
