Raised a ticket so that my licence was valid for download at REX Axis.

Completely uninstalled the original AccuSeasons, including any leftover registry entries.

Downloaded installer to a temp folder nowhere near any Windows restricted locations (e.g. Program Files/Program Files(x86)) and with full user rights.
Installed unzipped program into a separate folder (i.e. Z:\MSFS addons\REX AccuSeason Advanced Edition).
Ran as admin, selected my custom MSFS Community Folder location (not the standard MS Store or Steam locations).
Clicked Apply to Sim for each individual preset setting (no automation or select by date).

Restarting program and restarting PC has had no negative effect.
All working fine for me.

REX responded pretty quickly to my support ticket and this worked for me to get around the 'License Invalid' error:

 Delete the profile.json in your Documents/REX7/Rex Accuseason Advanced folder, open the app and re-register the product using the information on the right side of the screen.  I did that and it working again for me for now.

Eh, I just uninstalled Advanced and re-installed Original. It works fine, and in lieu of the tint mask, I'll just set colour temperature to "warm" (it helps dull down some of the overly bright green fields). I think I'll wait a bit before trying Advanced again.

When you run the program for the first time after installation, you have a 'fill-in your details' page.

The left side is your REX Axis account details (didn't work for me).
The right side is your email address, original purchase store, store order number, product serial key, etc. (did work for me).

Once complete, you should be able to authenticate and go to the first page of the program proper.

I did my first flight (SEA-BOI) in the Fokker F28 checking out the new textures.  Tree colors seem to look good and I thought I noticed a difference (possibly better) in the clouds.  However the Terrain Masking or whatever it is was is not exactly proper.  From higher up it looked descent but on final approach at 1000 AGL or so and below I noticed that my city streets had a grassy texture instead of the normal road texture.  No problem I decided to try an open the AccuSeason program to reset the default Terrain Masking but the program seems locked.  I get a box on the lower right side of monitor saying its in auto mode and that it will close in 5 minutes except it won't open at all.  No way to fix the problem that I can figure out other than uninstall and reinstall and set it up differently.  I tried running it as administrator with no success.  I Can't access AccuSeason now!

Click here. Then you'll see the icon. When you set program to set and forget, this is where to look.

Everything is right in the flight in world. Another REX release and another ran off the end of the runway with both engines flamed out scenario. Unbelievable…. well, actually, very believable.

Beyond the terrain masking (which I’ll pass on for now) is there a compelling reason to update?  

Sounds like the install is a bit of a process right now, I’m a simmarket customer.

I bought mine on Simmarket as well and had no issues. Even without the masking, it's still worth it for free.
