September 20, 20232 yr So in the last update, the Antonov was close to $1 million in sales but didn't surpass it yet. Well, it looks like it surpassed it and it has sold $1.3 million now: Quote Neumann was able to confirm that sales of the Antonov An-225 have reached $1.3 million. Antonov is very satisfied with that result. I was going to update the other Antonov thread with the $1 million in sales but that thread was locked unfortunately (please keep politics out of this thread this time, thank you). When PMDG made a killing in their sales for the 737, and A2A's sales of their Comanche also wildly exceeded their expectations, MSFS is the place to be if you're a 3rd party developer. i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

September 20, 20232 yr Very appropriate username to start the thread and great news (Hope that is not deemed too political). September 20, 20232 yr Apparently they are looking at more tie-ins with Antonov. We already have the An-225 and An-2, but an AN-24 / 26 / 32 series aircraft would be great. Lots of those built. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. It would be something a bit different from what we have. Looks like this An-148 is partially based on it actually. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). September 20, 20232 yr All I can say is, 'Wow'. 🍺 With returns like these we are going to see some amazing add-ons in the not so distant future. Gulfstream might even get off there high horse and let us model a study level G650ER at some point.😏 Edited September 20, 20232 yr by Dillon FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR

September 20, 20232 yr Antonov struggled for years to bring their airplanes to the western market. Unsatisfyingly, west was reluctant to cooperate with Antonov because at the time Ukraine was still in transition of post Soviet fallout with a lot of corruption, domestic problem and etc. So Antonov was selling airplane to Cuba, Iran, China and Africa. Now things change dramatically. I think Antonov could have good shot at regional market dominated with CRJ and ERJ. And if Ukraine eventually partner with NATO AN -70 could get along with A400M. By the way AN70 has better payload comparing with A400 so it's fair play. When I did my training with Antonov I was fortunate enough to see stand with mockup cockpit of AN148 fitted with Collins avionic and it looks pretty good. I think AN26/32/24 are things of the past. I'd love to see them in MSFS but they would fall along with Dash7, Focker 50. Realistically study level of AN124 would be the most welcome. Cockpit of AN225 and AN124 nearly identical and inBuilds would be the best developer to take on it! Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F).
