No.

It's not intended as a flight planner.   It's primarily a means of importing and utilizing Simbrief data that you've previously set up in Simbrief.

I doubt it.  Do we even have flight planners in the sim, aside from the sim itself?  The tablet is meant to provide an interface into Simbrief for charts and retrieval of flight plans you create in Simbrief.  I think the main focus a lot of us wanted was the performance calculations.  I appreciate the other things people ask for, but what we needed most of all were performance numbers.

If the performance calculator works as well as the weather, I hope you have hull insurance on your 737 when you run off the end of the runway into the marker lights. 😁

So maybe to get the weather to work you have to have a charts subscription from Navigraph, versus just the Airac data sub.

Boy, I don't know.  I have the complete subscription for access to charts in Europe.  I don't pay the extra for ForeFlight because Canada and Europe are like 200 extra dollars and I already have the performance plan in ForeFlight 😬

Well we're about to find out.  The Fenix gave me some lovely numbers out of KJAC one time and reduced flex had me rotating at the very end of the runway! 😆  That was before the last update to it.  I haven't gone back to see if it's a continuing issue.  Most runways are pretty long.

Anyone else getting a "Simbrief Error"? My Simbrief alias is correct and i loaded a flight plan into the FMC. It says " ....confirm your flight plan is generated". How do I generate the Simbrief OFP into the aircraft? Neither the EFB or FMC has no means to do that.

Not sure if just me but can't adjust landing distance. Even though announcement says - Reduced runway length computations.

I have also found if you want to type in airport ICAO it freezes the sim for a few seconds each time you input a letter to find the airport since it brings a list up.

Use the simbrief downloader. You have to set it up for the PMDG 737.

I have been using that all along, already have setup for the 700 & 800

Well that was fun while it lasted. Trying to pull a chart from Navigraph crashed the sim (CTD).  This add-on just gets worse with each update.

Well, not to say that you are not having issues, but for me all is working nominal. I’ve pulled both SimBrief Flightplans and Navigraph charts. No issues or crashes.

YMMV. TANSTAAFL

It was working, but Navigraph wouldn't stay logged in.  So I had to reauthorize it.  Then, on climb out, I selected the SID for KSNA I was on.  That one click just crashed the whole game.  Curious to see how many end up having these issues.

Importing your flight plan into the EFB should download the RTE file automatically for use in the FMC. It did for a streamer I was watching

Pretty sure "reduced runway length computations" refer to take off, eg intersection departure. Landing you can select various things like autobrake, flaps, reversers, etc to see the approximate landing distance for that configuration.
