If I need Boeing content I go watch flightdeck2sim. He's not BIAS like the other guy mention here. He's been making content for over a decade now.

Yes, there are various other pilots that produce good youtube content about airliners for flight simmers, I'm not denying that, and of course I know and follow them too. flightdeck2sim's videos are definitely useful, but there's little focus on the MSFS/PMDG side of things in his videos. No problem with that, I just feel that there's other content that's tailored more to my needs.

I've been a bit out of the loop concerning airliner simming in the last 6 months, so I might've missed some of the drama (not that I really care). Anyway, I won't avoid a youtuber who I feel provided good teaching videos for my simming needs, just because some people on a flight sim forum call him biased. And I don't care enough to go looking for the drama and possible bias myself...

It was working, but Navigraph wouldn't stay logged in.  So I had to reauthorize it.  Then, on climb out, I selected the SID for KSNA I was on.  That one click just crashed the whole game.  Curious to see how many end up having these issues.

I've noticed this issue in several planes for me. I'm not sure it's exclusive to PMDG at all

Use the simbrief downloader. You have to set it up for the PMDG 737.

You do not need to use the Simbrief Downloader, now that we have the UFT.   That's the whole point of it.  Plan your flight in Simbrief (Generate flight, etc), then do nothing else, just come out of Simbrief.

Then in the UFT, simply "import data from Simbrief".  This (in the background) then places the flight plan into the PMDG's FP folder, so that when you go to the FMC RTE page and hit request flight plan, the FP loads up.

What I think is causing some confusion is that, whereas most addons with Simbrief integration ask you to enter your Simbrief ID (usually a number), the PMDG requires you to use your Simbrief Alias.   I had never used my 'alias' before and had to go to my account settings in Simbrief to find out what it was.

Pretty sure "reduced runway length computations" refer to take off, eg intersection departure. Landing you can select various things like autobrake, flaps, reversers, etc to see the approximate landing distance for that configuration.

I guess but I still can't edit it. I have reported.

And how do we get the Simbrief Wind Data into the PMDG 737? The only way is still the Simbrief Downloader, right?

Yes, there's a separate SimBrief download option for winds.

So the Tablet does not free us fully from the simbrief downloader. then i can stay with using it for the route as well. 😆

You don't need the downloader anymore guys! The winds/weather can be imported through the LEGS then RTE DATA page, same with descent winds. As long as you have imported your simbrief data into the UFT first.

Yep ^^^

Just import your OFP from Simbrief via the tablet and wind requests come through automatically no need for simbrief downloader.

Are you using landing dispatch or landing enroute? Use landing enroute to try different landing configurations.

Trying to get weather from destination airport KCLT, and I got an error saying to check ICAO code.

Found the problem, apparently it had switched in the preferences from Sim weather to real weather by itself. I switched back to sim weather again, and now it works. ??

Am I the only one who cant get the pmdg operation center to work? It just says it failed to connect. Running the op center updater from PMDG doesn't fix it.

Did you buy the plane through the Microsoft store?
