November 16, 20232 yr Change list below, A new update to the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries MU-2 (v1.0.18) is now available from Content Manager. Please see the release notes below: Adjusted aircraft take-off characteristics based on player feedback. Added a second GPS unit so pilots can use two Com/Nav radios. Fixed an issue with the heading selector. Added window de-icing. Fixed an issue where the windshield de-ice switch didn’t affect rate of change of cell ice accumulation. Fixed incorrect tooltip labelling on “Pitch / Aileron Trim” Fixed an issue where the EFB glass cockpit selection was reversed (Green “Yes” corresponded to Classic/no glass cockpit). Fixed the MU-2 being miscategorized as Propeller in the aircraft selection UI. It is now correctly categorized as a Turboprop. Thanks, MSFS Team -B Edited November 16, 20232 yr by btacon
November 16, 20232 yr And it seems MS/iniBuilds have done a decent job at listening to everyone's feedback because a good number of issues have been addressed. This is probably were 1.0 should have been buts it's still a very welcome update. AMD 7800X3D, RTX 4090, 42" LG C3 OLED 4K TV/Monitor

November 17, 20232 yr what I miss is the fact that there is no 'lubber line' on the HSI - I love hands flying ILS approaches & I find the lack of the lubber line just makes it much harder - especially when you are under 1000' - hope that very little thing makes it into the next revision (& maybe they add a Marquise to the line up) Rattso Cooler Master Cosmos 700M - MSI Godlike X (Devillike!!) - AMDD Ryzen 9 9950X3D (water cooled) - 128gb Corsair Vengeance 5200 D5 - ASUS ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Liquid OC GDDR7 32GB - EVGA 2000W P/S - Creative AE-7 - intel Optane 500gb - 3x 2tb M2 SSDs - 2x 2tb Samsung EVO SSDs - 1x Hybrid 2tb HDD - Brunner CLS-63E Joystick - Honeycombe Bravo quadrant - Brunner CLS-B rudder pedals - Samsung Odessey Ark 55" - G9 49" monitor

November 18, 20232 yr So ironic. The flight model in MSFS (like P3D and X-Plane by the way) is dumbed down in the area of "aileron induced adverse yaw". So why is that when flying the MU-2, there is a pronounced demonstration of "aileron induced adverse yaw"? I mean, there are NO ailerons!

November 24, 20232 yr I have difficulty landing with the MU2: it arrives quickly and if I put on a flap the speed drops quickly. In short, what do you recommend? Merci

Bref, que me conseillez vous ? Y a-t-il un spoiler ou équivalent pour ralentir à l'arrivée ? Merci That's what the MU-2 is famous for. It doesn't have ailerons so that there is space for large flaps, which enable the combination of a low landing speed with high cruise speed. This unusual feature resulted in a lot of accidents when pilots were not properly trained for the plane. Make sure you are on stable approach and keep a close eye on the speed. Be ready to push throttles forward if needed. And you need to know the approach and stall speed of the airplane, both in cruise and in landing configuration. As long as you get the speed right on approach, it is not too hard to land the plane. Peter

November 30, 20232 yr I was slow to spot that the autopilot feature of the PMS50 GTN750 works well with the Mitsubishi and can be kept in a useful position in the Pilot's view. With Annov's cleaner insrument panel from flightsim.to making things more attractive , I like this cheap buy. On a different note , I was blown away by the MSFS software this afternoon. Climbing southbound from Ivalo , Finland, from the darkness of a winter afternoon, the MSFS graphics were stunning with a red/orange sunlight lighting the cumulous cloud tops above black caverns of cloud. As I went south with the sun rising in front and moon behind it was a reminder of how dark it gets in Santa's Home and what wonderful software we have . Edited November 30, 20232 yr by nippa
