December 7, 20232 yr So is the rudder aileron interconnect a feature of the real aircraft or is it a design feature of the msfs version to work around rudder and adverse yaw issues? I find it to be tricky on landing in a cross wind which may require some decrabbing or cross controlling at the last moments. And in a crosswind you want to land with the crosswind side wing lower so I’m not sure about how this can work…are the controls linked in the real a/c then? im enjoying the aircraft but takeoff and landing transitions in even mild crosswinds are quite wild. also is this aircraft supposed to be landing / flares right on the stall speed? Because it is indeed a nuisance, click its pivot point on the ceiling and it will automatically be stowed to neutral. Thank SimAcoustics for the idea he gave me. That is excellent! Thanks for pointing this out. I've now completed 4 flights in the PC-12 and have enjoyed each one more and more. It's a superb, immersive aircraft. Congratulations on it's release. Immersion factor. I know it's subjective, but the Carenado is just very clinical and feels like any other Carenado aircraft. The sounds in this PC-12 are possibly the best I've heard in MSFS to date. The texturing and gauges in the cockpit are absolutely beautiful. And the Carendo wil never be updated or revisited. This one has an enhancement product coming in the future, to add failures etc. I'd really recommend it if you want the best PC-12 you can get in the sim at this point. It's not perfect and the FDE is still a little strange (could be realistic). you need to be very well established on approach, otherwise power changes will really upset your glidepath. But it's a lot of fun and very immersive. Take a look at this video (from 2:16) :- Look at the yoke moving like crazy, as he steers with the pedals. So yes, it's a real feature. Not sure why they decided the aircraft needed it though. The PC-12 is good, but is a level below the FSR500 or Blacksquare TBM850. The initial bugs are not an issue for me, especially as the first patch was out in a few hours. Until failures/hot starts etc are included, the other two products are better - the FSR500 with its fuel and passenger loading add a good deal to the experience AND it's systems are fully featured at release. I wouldn't have tried to help by offering an view if I didn't own them both. 😃 I meant from this point on, the CAR PC-12 will not be developed further. I'd highly doubt that 2 years after it's release, Carenado are going to add additional features. It's not a bad aircraft the CAR model. But the SWS is already leagues ahead in sound, texturing, animations, etc. And the SWS PC-12 has a published path of further development. They've said they are creating a complexity enhancement that adds failures, etc. Edited December 7, 20232 yr by JYW Bill 😎FS2024 • Currently in 'GA mode' : A2A Comanche 2024 & Aerostar • Black Square C208, Bonanzas, Barons, TBM850, Dukes • COWS DA40 & DA42 • FSW Legacy, C24R Sierra & C414 • Echo Falco F8L • FFX HJET, Visionjet and P180 2024 • Got Friends A32 Vixxen • FSReborn Sirius TL3000, Sting S4 and Piper M500 • Flyboy Rans S6S • Skyward DA50RG • SWS Zenith CH701, RV-8, RV-10, RV-14, PC12 • Milviz C310R • Air Foil Labs Bristell B23 TrackIR • BeyondATC • PMS GTN Payware • RealTurb • Axis & Ohs • FS Realistic Pro9800X3D • RTX 3080 • 64GB DDR5-6000NPPL licence holder in the UK

December 7, 20232 yr Hi - I will be picking this up for sure. Can anyone let me know how Beta range works on this? Is it similar to the TBM 850? On the FSR500, I have a curve set up on my Throttle range to make it work in a similar manner to the TBM where bottom 15% of throttle range is beta.. I watched a couple videos and read the manual but have not seen anything mentioned. Thanks!
